You love me in a way I’ve always craved, but never had. You love me without shame; the way you are not afraid to be yourself with me around other people, your family included like I have experienced too often. Like you are proud to be with me. I do not question whether I am being chosen. I know I am. Being able to let down walls with each other is something I am constantly thankful for. You are so kind, patient, understanding, beautiful, funny, wicked smart, and a million other things. I am so lucky I am the person you chose to let in.
