Tuesday marked the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Living in Manhattan when the attacks occurred, I was fortunate to be unharmed and not know anyone personally who had perished. I felt like I was a survivor of sorts however because the city (and really the world) was impacted so severely. Walking around downtown was absolutely devastating.
I usually watch every 9/11 program humanly possible every year. In addition to just my personal interest in news programs, I almost feel an obligation to know all there is to know about EVERYTHING 9/11 related. This year I started watching a program on the Flight 175. I started feeling really anxious and maybe that's how I've felt in the past but I had to turn away. Maybe I'll watch next year, but I will never forget....
