He was assassinated by Chicago Police and the United States Government in his bed while sleeping at the tender age of 21. He deserves to be celebrated for his unyielding commitment to challenging oppressive systems that subverted, people like me, kidnapped Africans in America,to much less than cattle compared to our non-black counterparts. He was a General in the most historic battles of the Civil Rights Movement. His servant leadership and sacrifice indefinitely qualifies him as one of Black America's strongest leaders. He was beaten, jailed, and ultimately gunned down in the battlefield 49 years ago so that YOU AND I could experience new freedoms unrealized in his lifetime. And in less than 5 days TRUMP aka Ronald Reagan Jr assumes office with a plan to dismember much of his hard work and our comfort in this country {let that sink in}.
