Entry 25: August (part 1)

Hey guys :) i got a few things to update you on. sorry i havent been around in a while... i kinnda got fed up writing long bits off text every day and then forgot about tumblr for a while until the principal off my school started talking about it the other day XD Anyway, today i will talk to you all about my birthday (that happened ages ago). Tomarrow i will write about the time between my birthday and school and on Wednesday i will write about school so far.

so the last time i had an entry it was in a negative view on the event as there was lots off people canceling and i was finding it hard to fill the 10 beds i have booked at the hostel. It ended up that the people who did come were Oonagh, Anne Marie, Rebecca, Katherine and her friend Sebastian. so that was 6 out off 10 which wasnt bad...

I woke up that morning feeling very happy and excited. I put on my purple skinny jeans to show the world how i was feeling... i reminded myself off a young child at Christmas wating to  see what santa left him XD

Oonagh and i had to get a train up to Belfast to meet the rest off them as they had an earlier train up. once i paked the car and Larne train station i got a call on my mobile from Katherine and Rebecca telling me that the man at the hostel was being rude to them and told them that they must have a passport for ID or they wont be aloud to stay.

Oonagh and i were so scared... was this my birthday plans ruined??? we spent he whole rain ride in worry, not saying a word... i felt like crying.

Once we got to Belfast we got lost XD then we found the others...or should i say the pissed off others. they tried being happy as it was my birthday but we all know what was approaching us as we grew nearer the hostel.

Once there, the man asked my name and told us that because the fie and games were being held he would have to split us up. He didnt say a word to me like what he did to the others. But... the hostel was a complete dump. However, the way i saw it, it was just a place you lay our heads for the night.

Later we headed you Union that was just around the conor. My excitement suddenly came back. This was it. The first night out in a real bar. A gay bar. something i was looking forward to for years!!!

The man at the door checked my ID and wished me a happy birthday XD and then a cute guy in the door stamped my hand and once i walked into the place i felt as high as a kite!!! it was the best night off my life and the tranny Tina was amazing and really knows how to put on a great show. I didnt pull (but my straight friend did) but i couldnt give a shit. my birthday night out was perfect and Union Street is a place i will deffo go to again... next stop, KREMLIN!!!

When going back to the hostel, we werent even drunk. everyone was able to get to sleep but me, Rebecca and Katherine as the guys we were sharing the room with snored like animals. so we went down to the lobby and chatted to a Brazilian and Holland girl until the late hours off the morning. 

For Breakfast, Oonagh, Anne Marie and I went to a nice little cafe around the coner that sole REALLY nice food at REALLY low prices. it was one off the nicest places i been in. After this we went to the 02 shop to buy my new phone (Nokia Luminer) and we got the train home.

I know to all you reading this that it may sound boring... but trust me if you were there you wouldnt have thought so... the atmosphere was buzzing and my 18th was the best birthday i ever had and the nest night out ever. ROLL ON BIRTHDAY NUMBER 19!!!

Entry 21 - The Sims 09/07/13

So today im going to play the sims 3 like i have been doing recently. My sim family are called the Blomkvist's (inspired by Stieg Larsson's books off the millennium series - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl who Kicked a Hornets Nest obviously one off my favorite characters from the books is journalist Blomkvist) Anyway, the family consists of Amiliea and Victor Blomkvist and there five children... the whole family are vampires. I should say at this stage that i have MANY sims 3 expansion packs including World Adventures, Ambitions, Pets, Generations and Late night so its safe to say im a pretty big fan of the game.

I think the reason why im so addicted to this game is because of the way you are able to control life. Shit doesnt happen in the game unless you make it happen and all plans succeed. i just wish my own life was like this. I wish i was a sim and i could just control my future... think about how much better my life would be... i could get A* grades at school get a job as a rock star or an astronaut or even a ghost hunter!! (i could also meet a guy and get married to him within a night if i wanted haha)

Entry 20 - New followers, Andy Murray and Films. 08/07/13

Hey guys!! :D I would like to start off this entry by saying thank you to the new 11 followers i gained over the last 48 hours and welcome to my blog, i hope you enjoy reading my diary/journal or whatever the hell it is. haha. It is amazing to see how pride is able to bring so many people together over a blogging site and from what i can see all my new followers are off the ages 13-25 and so i am happy that this is the generation that will lead the world in the future as i could see from Saturday that we want change and its bound to happen sometime as we will be ruling the country in time to come :) so basically welcome and if you would like to promo me PLEASE PLEASE do!! haha

Another thing i would like to say is well done to Andy Murray for making the history of being the first British male to win Wimbledon in 77 years. i am sure you family and friends are all proud off you the way the rest off the UK are. It is very well deserved and all your hard work has been rewarded and your very good looking...HAHA (thats all i can say as i dont know much about sport.)

Anyway... what did i get up to today? well i was a little scared off the sun today as i am in so much pain from my sun burn from pride that i decided to stay indoors and watch the Purge and The Hunger Games and OH MY GAWD... they were much much better than expected. I was hoping that The Purge would have been a little more scarier but the producer made a good job off making it an excellent thriller! The Hunger Games is a totally different type off film but as equally entertaining and imagine if the Hunger games did exists in real life... would you win if you were chosen from your district?

Entry 14 - Interview 18/06/13

Today i went for an interview for a summer job at my local Spar... i filled out the application form around a month ago and heard noting back from them until Friday when they asked if i was able to attend.

The interview went really well i thought, but i know a few other people that are also up for the job and the competition is very stiff im afread :/ however, i tried my very best and thats all i could do. The interviewer seemed to like me enough too so that is good :)

I really want and need this job - not only for the money (because that would be great) but also for experience and the fact that id have something to do during summer instead off wasting my time... i REALLY hope that job is mine!! haha

I wont know for another 2 - 3 weeks where my luck lies, however, ether way, i will get back to you!! :D

Entry 12 - A Peaceful Day 15/06/13

Today i had a very lazy day... i got out off my bed at 2pm and started watching 'Game Of Thrones' as i always wanted to watched it... and you know what? im hooked! im already am on episode 4 and know that i am gonna be a dedicated viewer off this program for a very long time :P only bad this is there is a lot of straight sex scenes... EWW!! so apart from watching my new program, i ate a load of crap and played the Sim 3... such a productive day. :P

Entry 8 - HOT HOT HOT and Sectarianism In Northern Ireland 07/06/13

Alright, here we go for the 8th time. I am going to split this Entry into two parts as there is two things i wanted to talk about and i knew the first topic wasn't going to full up many lines :P As most off my followers are also from Northern Ireland (only 2 of them arent) most people reading this would know exactly what im talking about in this entry. Might i just add at this point that i am not British or Irish, I am Northern Irish and i am not Catholic or Protestant as i am an Atheist so there is not side taken in the second part off this text - only fact.

. (1) - HOT HOT HOT

Here in Northern Ireland we are sunbathing in parks, wearing as little clothes as possible, buying ice cream or ice lollies... or both! and drinking alot of cool refreshing drinks. I would think that everyone would agree with me that it is nice to see this weather for once in Northern Ireland, where it usually just rains every day haha.

However, this is not the case. Why? Because people love to complain. Already i look at my facebook feed and see loads off people saying about how its too warm and wishing it would rain like usual or something which shows they dont appreciate the current weather. In my uncles shop today a customer came in and bluntly said "A bit off rain would help today, cant me bothered with this weather." I mean for the love of God just be happy.

I would admit, it is pretty shit that it is like this at exam time, but just think that within a month (if not already) the exams will be over and you have the whole summer in the sun (if it stays that long). Besides, you can always take your books outside as revise under the sun.

And you know what?  If it was raining, everyone wold be complaining. If it was snowing, everyone would be complaining. I don't know if it is like that all through Northern Ireland - but here on the coast everyone never seems to be happy as they just love complaining. And i know this entry is contradicting itself as im complaining about people complaining but i just had to write about it.

I wish everyone could all be happy together for  once and just agree on something as simple as weather or not its a nice day, instead of just trying to make an augment out off nothing.

On the plus side - im loving this weather and trying to spend as much time in it as possible - i might get a tan and be desired by all the boyz (as if XD) but im not complaining and i hope this weather stays like this until September (HA as if that would happen, but i can always live in hope)

However, over the past month i did learn to use suncream before bathing as i accidentally spent the whole day in my back garden listening to music under the sun and my face and neck got really badly sun burnt. I was not a happy bunny, And then to top it, later on that evening i was to meet up with a friend for the first time. I was so in fronted going down the street with a face even redder than Rudolf, santas beloved reindeer's nose.

That night went well and Oonagh didnt judge me (too much XD) on my face... We walked out the country so not as many people would see the state off me. haha

(2) -Sectarianism In Northern Ireland.

Anyway - i really love it here in Northern Ireland and i want to spend the rest off my life living in this country, but the people here just do not have a clue how to be happy. Everyone has to disagree with something, and even with the troubles over for years and years now, we are still seeing sectarianism within NI. some people here still cant respect each others religion - that's just how old fashioned we are. However, a lot off people like myself are wanting to move forward.

But seriously - even the removal of the Union Jack from the city hall created countless protests (which i see are still ongoing) and i really can not see what the problem is. Like i said before - im not British or Irish, im Northern Irish and im not Catholic or Protestant as im an atheist. The flag will be flying on certain days off the year, which i think is totally fair... this county should be equal to both Catholics and protestants and this fact should be respected by both sides off the community.

During the flag protest, there was vandalism, injuries to police officers and lots off tax payers money that had to go the damages and the police force - not to mention the amount of tread that the surrounding businesses lost out on because off the whole childish tantrum. Lets be honest - how many of the flag protesters sat every day and looked at the bit off cloth every day before it was taken down (most likely none as i cant imagine anyone being so sad) and would any off the protesters have noticed the flag missing if they took it down without the media getting involved? i don't think so.

And i hate hearing about how its 'culture' or whatever. Im sorry but a flag is not your culture its a bit off cloth and if that's what you feel is your culture, then you have a petty lousy culture and you should maybe invest in a new one or something.

And as for the bands - they create more problems than good. Actually, what good do they create? They just make one side bitter and the other side into a group off bigots, How about the bands stop playing up and down streets causing problems and just rent a field out in the middle off nowhere where the marchers can march up and down it 24/7 without getting into anyone's road?

The Alliance Party got so much stick for doing what was right. The Alliance party wants the country to move on and forget the past - unlike the TUV, UUP, DUP and SINN FEIN. I also think the fact that the DUP is is leading the country as Peter Robinson is First Minster and Sinn Feins Martin Maginnise as Deperty First minster is a very big mistake, but i do feel that even though there party's are getting along, one is still seen as the catholic party and the other as a protestant one and this is simply not right.

How about just having one party to lead Northern Ireland, eh? A party that fits for both Catholics and Protestants and simply does what is right? Why not vote for the Alliance party, Green party or SDLP? Because too many people in this country are still sectarian and just cant let go - sometime people cant even see it in there self but as soon as they are off to vote, they already know what party they will be voting for because off there religion.

I find this sad. i really do. Is this the example we should set to children? If you don't get your way, just protest and create a lot of bother and waste a lot of government money to get it. I think not. Act your age. im only 17 and i feel that i have a much mature approach about the subject than many 30, 40 and 50 year olds.

Im just glad that i can honestly say that i can look at all the teenagers i know around me and honestly say that sectarianism is (slowly) dieing out, however we still do have them wee aresholes that are between 12 and 19 who like to go out and throw a couple of bombs at police officers and say that they are proud to do so - yet they hide there faces from the cameras. Yup, that's how proud they are. And most off them don't even know what they are fighting for, which i find so funny! But in years and years too come everyone in NI will be happy and getting along fine.

Sorry if it seemed like i went off on a rant there but i tried to write this bit off text as best i could and tried to make it flow well. I really want to write an entry about my friendships with people and so on, but idk if i should do it all at once or take each friend one at a time and talk about him/her. Any suggestions?
