Having loved ones in Israel while not being from there is insane bcs what do you mean your house is getting bombed? What do you mean it's all fine because there is a shelter? What do you mean every house has a safe room usually used as a proper room, this seems like an overt metaphor. What do you mean it's fine? What do you mean you are used to it? You shouldn't have to be used to it. You don't deserve all that shit.

I have only known peace, I live in a country that has never been at war, and suddenly every piece of news making my heart skip a bit is something that happens to me for the first time. Fuck. I guess war is real after all. And for the people born in it, it is just what it is but for me it just looks insane and I can't wrap my head around it and no matter how hard I try and how hard I love I will never get it. I will never get what war is or feels like. I am so lucky in that sense.
