But that is something time has swept away as well, together with a battery of machines attached to his body or the mists that used to cover it. When he enters the hospital room now, he’s greeted by the screeching of the cicadas and the sound of Oboro’s voice calling his name in a way that makes him think of rooftops and popsicles.
