How to see future spouse in vedic astrology part 1
It's great to come across different people here on Tumblr. I am sharing vedic astrology chart as an example for a fellow Tumblr friend on her request regarding future spouse with her consent so that you all can see as well how I read charts. In this part I am discussing D1 chart.
The very first thing to see in your chart is 7th house sign and Nakshatra.
In her case she has 7th house in Taurus with dsc in a moon ruled Rohini Nakshatra. So, 7th house themes will resonate the traits of this Nakshatra and moon. So, she wants a spouse who is charming, affectionate, emotionally expressive, and values beauty, comfort, and stability in relationships. He may be artistic, sensual, and possess a soothing presence, someone who enjoys life’s finer things and provides emotional security. 7th house and it's Nakshatra tells you about the spouse your soul wants to attract and the these themes will be prominent in your love life.
Then we look at the 7th lord.
So for her 7th lord it is venus which is also her Amatyakarka (advisor to your soul) conjunct her Atmakaraka (soul purpose) which is mercury emphasising romantic nature in her. So soul purpose is not only tied to her spouse it is one with it. I have my Darakarka conjunct my Atmakaraka and I'm a very romantic person as well so if ak or amk is conjunct with dk or 7th lord or Venus then it can make one very romantic and such people also attract romantic people in their life. So, spouse will be romantic too.
Then we look at the sign, house and Nakshatra 7th lord is placed in.
She has her 7th lord venus conjunct mercury in 8th house gemini in a Jupiter ruled Nakshatra punarvasu which tell me her spouse will be intelligent, curious, and communicative with a deep yet adaptable nature. He may have a mysterious charm, be good with words, and possess a healing or transformative influence. With Punarvasu Nakshatra themes of renewal, hope, and divine light returning after darkness will be prominent in love life. Its symbol is a quiver of arrows which represents resilience, adaptability, and the ability to “return to one’s true self” no matter how turbulent life becomes.
When her 7th lord Venus and Mercury are in Punarvasu, it suggests her spouse embodies Jupiterian and Punarvasu qualities so wise, optimistic, nurturing, and spiritually inclined. He may have a naturally forgiving and restorative energy, always seeking to bring peace and balance after conflict. This person is likely someone who believes in second chances, approaches relationships with faith and patience, and radiates a gentle warmth that feels healing.
He might also be philosophical, cultured, and well spoken (thanks to Mercury’s influence), with an ability to see the good in people. The Punarvasu energy gives him a dual nature as well he may oscillate between being highly introspective and socially engaging, but always returns to emotional centeredness.
All this indicates a spouse who helps her rediscover hope, emotional stability, and deeper understanding in love, a person who brings light after storms <3
So, one would read into traits of Nakshatras and correlate them to spouse to know what they will be like. Go as deep about nakshatras as possible I will recommend yt channel of KRS astrology for pretty much any of your astrology related queries or insights you can literally search any of your placements on his channel or lords in different houses he has allot of content and ofcourse Nakshatras and also the website ultimateastrologer.com please go and look for your nakshatras on this website you while reading about them imagine your spouse or yourself or pretty much anyone you are reading for.
Note: those who fear that their d1 is good wrt spouse and d9 is not so good I want to tell you that your d1 is more than enough to tell you about your future spouse. And d9 is the chart that will discuss inner layers of nuances but it can't overwrite d1 completely. Your spouse is what is shown in d1 with the added flavors of all the other d charts. Also, for the 1000th time you guys NO CHART IS GOOD or BAD.
In next part I will discuss darakarka, venus, mars, Jupiter and aspects of these planets.
