Matthew Rhys: “Even before I knew what happened, the way you set up ‘The Americans,’ you can’t get bored. If you get bored playing this part, you’re doing something very wrong. It’s always new, there’s always something goading, pushing, tweaking, changing, that you go, ‘Oh, right, how do I do this? ”

Keri Russell: “At the beginning some of Elizabeth’s stridentness worried me. Now I love it. Finally she’s showing these cracks. It gives you somewhere to go. I love the black and whiteness about her.”
