I decided on drawing the Afton kids, and Charlie for ✨️FNAF Remodelled✨️! While these versions of them may nit make an appearance in the show, I've been wanting to make my own designs! Bonus wip and flat color version and yapping under the cut

I still wanted to put the flat color version here because while I did use the trick of layering one color over the others to bring them together, I color picked them individually the first time and I came pretty close to what the colors were when I put the one color over them so I was a little proud of myself for that, I’m not even gonna lie. There’s also a part of me that worries the flat color version looks better than the fully rendered version which would give me the feeling that I did all that rendering for nothing but oh well

Also a sketch where I gave her more humanoid hands. I stared at them for a long time, wondering why I didn’t like it before I realized I wanted more furry paws and less human fingers but I’m still proud of how I drew the hand

Sorry gang, I've been all over the place this week...!

Between reconnecting with a work friend and playing PEAK for probably like 30 hours, losing the ability to have store-made bread because of my corn allergy, extreme leg pain, and my hamster dying... I think I'm just so out of it 😭😭

I'm hoping to have a bit more of a low key week next week where I spend more time writing and drawing, but... who knows! I just gotta keep doing my best 🫡💗

Uhhh ranting about something people probably won't like...

I saw a post a little bit ago that told people they could test if their coworker was homophobic by using the word "partner" and seeing if the coworker reacted at all.

Please do not misunderstand me. I have nothing wrong with the word partner, it's widely applicable to all sorts of people and all sorts of relationships! It's literally the most useful term for any and all significant others!!

I mostly have a problem with this kind of mindset, using it as a sort of homophobia test for the random people in your life.

Just because someone is unfamiliar with a term doesn't make them homophobic? And yeah maybe they react weird, and yeah maybe they are super homophobic. But what about the people who just don't know? To me it feels like a way to widen the gap between those who know and those who don't.

When you explore your gender identity, it naturally happens that you'll encounter these terms, learn more about who you are and who you could be. Some people spend months, years of their lives learning who they are. But you expect someone to instantly understand who you are in a matter of moments? When it took you so long?

I just bring this up because I understand what it's like being set on fire for simply not understanding. You don't even have to completely agree with me, but I think it's the right thing to do. If we are going to expect other people to respect us and who we are, shouldn't we respect other people and their experiences as well? It's not one sided, everyone deserves respect, no matter who or what they are.

As someone who's starting tweening, start SMALL. Like three pieces, maybe even two. Simple background. Once it starts making sense, do a little more. More moving pieces, maybe even try a moving mouth! Don't get too discouraged if you bite off more than you can chew, and you can always come back to a project later 🫡 Good luck soldier 🫡✨️
