i think what’s especially interesting about my dad is that when he listens to political debates he’s not actually listening. at all. when something is brought up by the opposing side and his favorite politic is put on the spot, he’s skipping until he gets to a part where his side gets the last word or has some sort of gotcha moment. it makes sense now. they’re just not listening 🥰
