So far the only passenger jets that China was able to produce were - An antonov derived turboprop that was pulled from service by basically every airline that operated them due to fucked up maintenance - An MD-80 clone using CRJ engines - An actually decent looking a320/737 competitor that is most likely far better than the Irkut MC-21 and the Superjet SJ100, but it has like 50% US and european components and so far only 21 have been delivered despite its maiden flight being in 2017
