Concept thingie for my superhero/distopian story

Uniform and mandatory "accesories" for the students of the ACCD

The powers in this universe are called with the latin word for gift: donus, dona for the plural.

Everyone is born with a very generic and weak power, which they can train and that adapts to the persobality and psyche of the user.

For some reason, some kids seems to develop evil fucked up powers. The obly logical explanatipn must be that they are actually evil and deserve to be trated like shit i'm sure this will not in any way have negative consequences.

- The name of the massive creature made from the fusion of the three colorful clay figures was accidentaly given by the restof the toys, generated from the recurrent "watch out for clay" that anyone who knew what would happen if you ended up encountiring who left those traces of dough around the Playcare during a bad moment would end only one way.

- however, to whoever it protects, Clay is a perfect guardian. Sometimes a little too controlling, but surely cares about the health of its subject. As long as they don't become a liability.

- Originally, Reid, Sunny and Dawn were part of a group of five toys, the Claytoons, about whom the Palytime co made a cartoon that was sadly cancelled after repeated complains about cannibalism jokes.

The other two died, one by Poppy's hands after he attempted to leave the factory, and the other killed and consumed by ths remaining three claytoons after it was discovered he was stealing the rationed food for himself.

- They are still three diatinct people who could separate anytime they want. But they don't; after all, they can prorect each other way better this way.

- since in this universe the Smiling Critters aren't a thing, Cuddlepaw and "Dogday" aren't part of the same toy line. The bbi was created to help calm other newly transformed toys and keep them in line, but it backfired since both due to the conditioning into being a caring figure and the kid being extremely upset about the whole initiative and wanting to help the others made him protective of the other experiments

- He's still Theodore Campbell, he still got transformed after getting electrocuted in an attempt to make Ollie escape by stealing a grabpack, and he still has a weirdly religious view of both the Prototype and the situation they all find themselves, but instead of seeing Ollie's as a god he sees his friend as a miracle, almost an apology from the All Mighty for everythjng he was put through.

- still posses the red smoke, which since he doesn't use that much and since he has an almost defective version produced by the Playtime Core, insteadof putting to sleep causesextremely upsetting hallucinations: his monster form at the end of chapter 4 is all in Preston's head.

- is one of the few toys who knew Preston by name from before the hour of joy, and remembers perfectly his role during his conditioning.

- the experiments who recognize him either know he was one of the people who helped them escape (and also led to the current situation after abandoning them for years to rot) or know that he worked at the Bigger Body Initiative. Either way, he isn't well liked.

-> While Poppy and Ollie do swap roles, Ollie was still just a protitype to revive his sister; he still planned the Hour of Joy, but the massacre that occured shortly after the succesfull escape was not planned by the jack in the box

-> Poppy locked Ollie into his own box and threw him in a tank of poppy gel, where he stayed for ten years until the main character (i'm not spoiling who takes the "angel" role) found him

-> in the first chapter, Kissy does not pretend to be a statue but instead tries to scare off the intruder, without actually getting violent until they managed to managed to unlock a door by using a code that only workers from the deeper levels (scientist, brainwashers, etcetera) could have know

-> i kind of hate the big red donut lips the wuggys have ngl so i got rid of them

-> huggy does help the main character because Ollie likes them but is just waiting for the first sign of malice to bash their head in

-> Catnap still has poppy gas but can't use it too often, so the obly times when he actually produces it is during the first encounter with the main character to absolutely obliterate the pianosaurus equivalent in this au and during the boss fight

-> characters death methods are kept as close as canon: for example, doey gets frozen and then cutted up and catnap burns and then gets stabbed in the mouth, the only dfference is who does the final blow

-> idk what to do with dogday and mommy long legs ngl

-> everyone will problably change name but idk about that yet
