When listening to Bridge Over Troubled Water today, I was reminded that David said that Michael was his bridge over troubled water and listening to the lyrics, I started to cry because that IS Michael. And when David said this it wasn’t jokingly or anything but completely sincere with a dreamy look in his eyes looking at Michael. Michael’s little “awww” and the soft silence that followed where that moment just marinates made it sweeter ❤️

The most beautiful thing about this is David obviously knows this. What a wonderful thing to know that you have someone like Michael in your corner and your heart ❤️❤️ ❤️

Michael Sheen on why A Matter of Life & Death is his favourite film

I've had a few folks reach out to me about this, and it doesn't at all feel like an accident that two of the movies David picked are two of Michael's favorites. I can imagine the two of them bonding over movies almost immediately after they started working together on Good Omens, and Michael having David over to watch "A Matter of Life and Death" particularly. Chattering excitedly about his favorite parts, shedding a tear at the more moving ones, and David all the while just sitting back and enjoying every moment of it...

Good Omens 3 really gave us a tiny glimpse of Michael Sheen and David Tennant in full romantic-film mode... sorry, but you cannot unleash that level of tenderness on screen and not expect people to immediately start imagining entire films around it. Honestly, put them in a romance immediately. Period drama, indie film, ridiculous Christmas movie, I’m not picky.

Michael and David make falling in love with each other look like the easiest thing in the world. The familiarity, the softness of two people who just fit with each other so effortlessly that you can't even imagine them not being together. It goes to something far beyond acting and it is beautiful to see...

Gaiman’s ‘Good Omens’ Finale Revels In Heartbreak

Whose Happy Ending Is It, Anyway?

This review captures what is, to me, the calculated cruelty of the finale:

So the ending we got feels like one final, ugly power trip by Gaiman, a statement to viewers that the highest and best use of the love they bear for these characters is for it to be sacrificed to the needs of the plot, dictated by the author-God for his own purposes. Crowley and Aziraphale’s love, and the viewers’ love for them, are manipulated and used against them to inflict emotional pain. Gaiman always sold the continuation of Good Omens as a tribute to Terry Pratchett, based on the conversations they’d had about a potential sequel book that never came to fruition. While there are some plot beats that feel like they might have belonged to Pratchett originally, you can tell who wrote this script. Pratchett wrote to share a story with an audience; Gaiman has written to subject the audience to his story.

I keep thinking about how many “Michael and David moments” we missed out on because there was basically zero promo for this last season. Michael and David are always brilliant when they’re promoting a project on their own, but together? They gave us absolute gems that fully deserve a place in the history of iconic promo interviews.

I SWEAR TO GOD too many of us haven't watch the end credits yet and think the finale ended right before the credits

I beg you to please watch them. If you are feeling hopeless, sad, depressed after the finale, GO WATCH THE END CREDITS. It healed me a lot and tell us what really happened at the end. We litterally can see multiple universes/globes with alts of Aziracrow and it end with them dining in the Garden Of Eden ??
