Danny walked into Steve's office with a gift bag and placed it on Steve's desk, but kept it closer to his side and still held on to it. "I'm taking you and Andie out to dinner tonight. Some place nice, where my limited French will come in somewhat handy. So go home, clean up nice, and be ready by 8." He slid over the gift bag and smirked, "This is part of the date. It's pre-opened by me, only because I made sure it was fully charged."

Danny pulled out a small remote to give a big hint of what was in the bag. "I'm going to test your discipline tonight, babe. And yes, I'm very aware of how unfair it'll be with Andie there."

Steve lifted his eyes from his laptop when Danny came in, glanced at the bag he was carrying, and let his gaze linger on it before speaking. Smiling, he closed the computer and stood up, pulling the bag close to peek inside even though he couldn't quite discern its contents.

His cheeks flushed when he saw the remote, swallowing as he picked up the bag. "Discipline and stamina, apparently." His eyes flashed playfully. "Alright Danno. I'm going to go home, get changed and try this on."

Steve was just about to wrap up at the Palace for the night, closed his laptop and stretched in his chair. The door to the corral opened, and he looked up to see officer Pua walking in with Jack, which immediately put him on high alert.

“What happened? And no, there isn’t. Not when HPD and potentially members of my team are involved.” He brought him over to a chair, so he could sit. “Why don’t you tell me what happened? I’ll get you some water.”
