I started this blog many years ago while MCR was broken up. I missed a band I’d never seen live and this caused my heart to ache in a way I was never really able to explain. Well, it’s an understatement to say I was ecstatic when the reunion was announced.
The first show near me was way too expensive. I thought that my only chance to see them live was gone. Well, when they announced the most recent stadium tour I was ready. With two people 3 devices, I was able to secure floor tickets to the PA show (hours away from my home state). It was the beginning of the best adventure of my life.
Fast forward to August 15, 2025. I was able to finally see and be in the room with a band I fell in love with in 2015. It was so surreal and amazing!
Growing up I dealt with depression without knowing the name. My Chem helped to give me a network of people to help with that. They also helped give words to explain how I was feeling. Most importantly though they taught me to carry on no matter what. I’m so glad I listened to that advice. Shouting “we’ll carry on” with thousands of other fans and Gerard has done more for me than years of therapy and Prozac.
