She doesn’t make it obvious that she’s a yandere, but her darling most definitely knows, along with everyone else around them. Maki is just very passive aggressive, so if she feels like her darling is being threatened - or being flirted with - she’ll get kind of angry and probably be planning someone’s murder. Maki has a huge soft spot for her darling, though, so she tries not to make her intentions clear to them so they don’t try to stop her.
Maki has, at least once or twice, literally killed in the name of her darling, whether they knew it or not. Maki just deeply loves and respects her darling, so if she feels like they’re being disrespected in any way, she goes a little feral. She’s pretty professional, though, so she doesn’t get too out of control too often, unless she’s seriously angry. Other than that, Maki is pretty chill, and honestly just wants to spend time with her darling.
A stalker mixed with a worshipper, so... not that great privacy wise. Shuichi wants to know, quite literally, everything about his darling. This isn’t too hard for him, because he’s pretty good at figuring out people in general, but Shuichi isn’t content with just basic information, he wants more intimate details on his darling. This is where the stalking comes in. Shuichi has been found lingering around his darlings room - or even in their closet - more than once.
That being said, boy is a closet freak. Shuichi is a shy boy, and easily flustered, but that makes him even worse when he becomes infatuated with his darling. He starts wondering about less than appropriate things when it comes to his darlings interests, and this often spirals into Shuichi having some very explicit fantasies. He’ll never talk about them out loud, even when he has his darling alone, they belong to him and him alone. His safe place, basically.
She’s hard to pinpoint as a yandere, because she isn’t obvious about it in the slightest. Kaede has a reputation to uphold, and she isn’t a violent person by nature, so it’s easy to hide her less-than healthy feelings for her darling. Kaede spends a lot of time simply admiring her darling. When she was being doubted by everyone else, they were there to support her and Kaede never forgets that. She’s extremely sweet, and is confident that she can gain the affection of her darling.
There’s a chance that Kaede ends up being in an actual relationship with her darling, because she really does seem normal, and she’s charismatic so her darling most likely finds her charming. However, jealousy isn’t foreign to Kaede. She’s felt it plenty of times, and is quite easily swayed by her emotions. She trusts her darling wholly, of course, just not other people.
Annoying. He’s just, really, annoying. Kokichi is an instigator, and if he just so happens to like how his darling looks when they’re angry, he’ll do everything in his power to make them mad at him. However, he’s also a possessive little bastard. Kokichi won’t tolerate his darling being too close with someone that isn’t him. It unsettles him, and he’ll bring a stop to the relationship immediately. That being said, Kokichi has a lot of control over his darling.
He follows his dararound like a lost puppy, though. Kokichi is someone who really just craves every ounce of affection he can squeeze out of his darling, and this ties into him purposefully annoying them. He knows that they won’t love him immediately, but that’s why he has to use force sometimes. Kokichi will make certain deals with his darling. Like, he’ll leave them alone for a few hours if they give him a kiss. Things like that, but he’s a liar, so he almost never keeps them.
