When your friends invite you to paint night every year and you try to be unsubtle about a joke. Painting skills might not have improved but I get another "can you see it?" painting out of it. Fun times!

Playing around with butterfly designs:

-Tree/leaf inspired butterfly

-Mosaic inspired butterfly

I just wanted to mess with more colors.

Got a little better on making raised beading but it didn’t reached the desired height I was hoping for. Mostly due to not enough base padding and beads. Took so much green beads and tried to use multiple shades to blend in a crystal reflection effect but... meh.

Fun project but so tired of green at the moment. ONE MORE STONE TO GO!

Etsy store... finally

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve last updated on Tumblr. But will try to post up the WIP I’ve been storing up soon.

Steven’s and Rose Quartz gems... I tired to do a solid pink and a shades of pink but I think it’s just too much? Like with Amethyst, I should simplify it.

Coming up with a design for Amethyst is hard. Tried 2 ways and kind of ways but it kind of lost it’s shape? Maybe make it more simple next time?

Had a tough time figuring out how to make it look like Jasper with the shades of oranges I had on hand. And try not to make it too plain. You’re a tough one, Jasper.

Lapiz Lazuli: cracked and fixed edition! Wanted to add more for the cracked edges but that would be too much and for the fixed I was worried that there wasn't enough stuff? This was a fun gem to do.

Here's Peridot! Was lucky to have a green triangle glass gem on hand. It was a little bulky but I get to practice peyote stitch and it's holding it in place really well.

Made a version of Pearl's gem from Steven Universe. Trying to add a little extra texture so it wouldn't just be a plain white pearl.
