Man Crush (Make-Believe Husband) Monday - Lord Elrond

So, I have been wanting to start a Man Crush Monday series, but apparently as I am a total weirdo, I was finding that all the “men” I was crushing on were in fact fictional characters. Way hotter than most real people I could think of. (This, among many other reasons, is why I am single.) So, you know what? Let’s just got with it. Here is the first entry from my new series, Man Crush (Make-Believe Husband) Monday - A Girl Can Dream. (#MCMBHM?)

Now, how to kick-off my series on fictional characters that I wish I was married to? Because I am the biggest J.R.R. Tolkien nerd of all time, it just had to be someone from Middle Earth. And with that, I present one of the most under-appreciated specimens in fantasy/sci-fi: LORD ELROND.

What Happened to all the Normal Heroes?

Jordan Crucchiola wrote a really interesting article for Wired today about how over the past decade, all of our movie heroes have become a little, too extraordinary. She pointed out the evolution of James Bond from suave and intelligent, but not quite a gym-rat Sean Connery, to Daniel Craig, and THOSE ABS.
