Jazz doesn't know how she got herself into this situation. Like yes, her family is probably really well known in certain circles. Not everyone knows everything but her parents are known by government officials, the phantoms are known by the paranormal community. You get it.
Gratefully Jazz lucked out and isn't associated with either. She got that therapist's license, she did the work. Her life was as normal as it comes! So how the hell did she end up in a summoning circle surrounded by like strangers in cloaks and even strangers in colorful uniform.
"Um. Hi?" Jazz was so embarrassed she was still in her work clothes. Nothing about her screams mad scientist or ghost from the afterlife so what the hell.
"Goddess of chaos! Lady of darkness—" Huh? HUH?!
"Woo woo woo! Hang on! NO! I AM NOT ANY OF THAT?! I AM HUMAN????" Jazz frantically denies everything while the colorful people look defensive.
Lovely. Perfect. Wth is her life? Were these people trying to contact one of her siblings? Chaos.. Ellie maybe? Jazz never really asked any of them about it. When she tried she got confused half way through and their words start sounding like static (literally).
"Are you saying you are not Eris?" One of the colorful people asked her. Jazz gave her the biggest confused look she could possibly give. Was that one of Ellie alt names? Hell she wouldn't put it past them.
45 years of trying to get out of this mess. She succeeded for almost 22 years apparently it came to an end. Jazz spoke again without moving as they were clearly still unsure of her. She explained who she was and her profession, she is as human as they come.
The cultist didn't seem happy that whatever they planned failed but they were swiftly taken out. Turns out Jazz ended up in a different world. Love that for herself. She was actually supposed to channel the chaos goddess but it failed for whatever reason.
Honestly she had a sneaking suspicion that it had something to do with her siblings but she wasn't going to try explaining that. Jazz knows possession, overshadowing, that was nothing new. All she can really hope for now is a way home.
Lucky her for getting saved by this world's heroes. They put one in charge of her, Diana who was apparently a demigoddess. While explaining herself and how everything else Jazz was glad to have her protection.
Because unbeknownst to her. Her presence was actually an interruption to both worlds. For the heroes, several people wanted to know how something that should have worked failed. She was definitely more than just humans.
On her own precious world 3 agitated royal ghosts felt their anchor go missing. In the middle of the day. 2 mad scientists find that their sole fully living child had flatline and what should have been her ghost detector has not gone off.
Nothing good can come from an anger powered Fenton. Alive or Dead.
