MERP
Hi everyone
Mun here and Iâve been gone which sucks because I have been getting muse back for my little person here. Anywho, to explain, life has been kicking my ass... literally.
I have midterms next week, so once thatâs done things should be winding down a bit. That and once my hand freaking heals.Â
For as awful as last week was, Iâm certain this one will be better. I mean how can it not be. Iâve got tickets to go see AOMG on Thursday and then BAP tickets for Sunday.Â
( @leejieun-ia Iâm legit considering the glove...it probably will look so much better than what Iâm rocking rn...)
le sigh.Â
Anyways, Iâll do what I can as I can and I apologize to everyone for being lame and ask that you all bare with me here....
Thank you!
-slips a note under your door- Meet me on the roof at dawn -HJ
The rustling of paper was heard and she perked a brow, looking toward the door. She set her book down and cautiously walked over, spotting the note half way underneath. She pulled it under and opened it up, familiar handwriting making her smile. She chewed her lip as she thought about it, wondering if she really wanted to go. He kept disappearing and while he had been completely true to his word and came back, she still wasnât a fan of the fact that he kept disappearing at all. Â
She took a seat on her bed and picked up her phone,Â
[SMS]Gone Boy: You know a text works just as effectively as a handwritten note.Â
Setting her phone back on the bed beside her, she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She couldnât not go and they both knew it.With a sigh, she got up and grabbed a jacket slipping it on,  before she picked up her phone, checking the time. Dawn was closer than she thought and so she headed out.  Hands in pockets, she made her way to the roof wondering what was going on and more excited than she should be by all of it. Â
It wasnât that he was trying to be discreet, he just needed a bit more time. He had already put it off for too long, but he still needed the time to gather his thoughts. He had worked up the ability to do well under pressureâŠthis was not one of those times. He was tired and words, well, words were never his forte. In fact, it would be much easier if she just scolded him, maybe hit him a few times because really, what could he ever say to her.
Time. He needed more time.
He made his way up to the roof, hoping the fresh air would help clear his mind or cool his skin. Something useful. Feeling his phone buzz in his pocket, his lips twisted into a frown, having it been awhile since he had a call or message of personal nature. However, he scoffed and his lips tugged at his lips to form the smallest of smiles.
[SMS] Princess: I like being old school. Next time I will just leave it attached to your door with a knife. Not creepy, right?
He walked over to the ledge and set his phone down, reaching into his jacket pocket for his box of cigarettes and lighter. Pulling one out of the box, he used his hand to shield the lighter flame from the wind as he lighted the cancer stick. Setting the cigarettes and lighter next to his phone, he patted around his pockets to make sure it was empty. If it was like past occurrences, she would forget a jacket and get cold. It wasnât like he needed it anyway. He didnât get cold. But for some reason, a shiver ran down his spine. Nerves? Oh fuckâŠÂ
( @kimhyuna-ia )
Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she pulled it out to look at it. She wanted to be annoyed, wanted so much to be angry and yet she couldnât help but softly laugh and shake her head at his response. Â She chewed her lip as she typed out her reply.
[SMS] Gone Boy: Donât go getting my hopes up. Thereâs actually going to be a next time? You most assuredly know how to win a woman over. Forget sweet love notes, give me a message stabbed into my door any day...
She sent the message before returning her phone to her pocket. Her stroll down the halls had been faster than she had expected and she paused at the foot of the stairs that would take her where she needed to be to get to the roof. It had been quite a while since sheâd seen him and for reasons she couldnât explain there were nerves.Â
There had been nerves since the night he said much more than he meant to, she was certain and though there was part of her that wanted to ask, deeply wanted to know, there were bigger parts that were afraid of what she might hear. She stepped out onto the ledge that would take her to the roof and once she reached the top, she froze.
He was standing there with his back to her, the familiar scent of smoke wafting toward her on the wind. She didnât say a word, just let a moment pass by and before she could think better of it, before she would let herself warn herself away, she had crossed the roof and her arms were around his waist, her face buried against his back.
She stood there a moment, simply holding on, breathing him in as she was hit with just how much she had missed him. She kept her face pressed against his back, her words soft and muffled, but she was certain heâd hear her. âI missed you...â
Requiem || Self Para
req·ui·em  (noun)
âȘÂ an act or token of remembrance.
[Open]
She shuffled uncomfortably inside the closet, covering her head with her hands. Her eyes closed as she let out a small sigh of disbelief. How can she be so stupid? Locking herself inside this cramped space was not something sheâd expect to happen to her, yet here she was, sitting on the floor after being so tired from standing and trying to get herself out of here without asking for help.Â
Just when she was about to knock on the door and shout for help, the door is opened and the girl freezes in place. âU-uhmâŠâ She blinked her eyes, trying to form words of gratitude, although sheâs pretty sure this was all just a coincidence.Â
âTh-âŠâ Momo stuck to bowing to the other person, and as she stood back up, her eyes came in contact with the other, causing her to freeze up even more. Sheâs now standing too close for comfort and she knew it, but couldnât move away due to how shock she was.Â
Awkward situations were something she was used to, she couldnât count the number of times she had been walked up on when she was talking to ghosts and people swore she was talking to herself. It was a curse to see two worlds but only live in one and though she was used to rather strange happenings, this one took her by surprise.
When she had gone to the closet and opened the door, what she had expected was the box she had been sent for and though the box was there, it wasnât at all what had caught her attention. Eyes had caught her attention and all she could do was blink. It wasnât exactly unusual for her to see people appear, but no matter how often it happened, it always caught her off guard.Â
The woman in the closet seemed just as shocked to see her and it was then that Hyuna wondered if maybe this was another instance of someone only she could see. Â
âU-uhm..â
Pulled from her own running mind she looked back at the woman in the closet who now seemed much closer than she had before.Â
âTh-...â
Was she bowing? That was new. Head tilted to the side and, as usual, completely unsure of what she was seeing she very slowly reached out a hand, finger gently poking the womanâs arm as a gasp left her mouth. âOh gosh...â she backed away quickly, bowing her apologies. âI am so sorry...I didnât....were you in there for a while? Wh- ...nevermind, the why isnât important....are you okay?âÂ
>.<
So I just wanted to let anyone waiting know, I have gotten the messages about plotting and I should have starters up by the latest Monday. I have an essay to write on why or why not the SHRA should be passed. (if you wondered, SHRA = Super Human Registration Act set forth in Marvelâs Civil War comic arc. Needless to say, my English class is kinda awesome even if I have to write papers still.) So I thank you for your patience and will get those things up and hellos said between student responsibilities!

It had been far too long since sheâd been there, far too long since sheâd let herself be there. It had become far too easy to not and she wondered if that was a good thing or not. Slender fingers found their way through her hair and her eyes took in all that this part of the city had to offer. She knew this route well and could, should she wanted to, count the steps that remained between where she was and where sheâd eventually end up.

So I'm pretty sure I pissed the universe off because it has been hitting me with these awful sicknesses. Once again, I'm sick. The crappy part is that I have work today and because it's a new job, I absolutely have to go. So I'm gonna lay here until I can't anymore and then go to work where I hope I don't puke on anything or anyone. Wish me luck.
In the Dead of Night | Hyuna, Hyunseung.
He leaned forward on his hands as she sat, legs swinging childishly over the open air. A big fall, the final drop - would he survive? Did it matter? Hyunseung was a strange thing, really, odd and fickle in his moods. His student had caught him in the midst of a bout of introspective melancholy, where he stood caught between the past and the future without ever once stepping foot into the present. âDoes it matter?â He laughed, bright and youthful. âIf I am pushed or I tumble of my own decree; whether my enemy finds me or my friends⊠I think it will still be nicer - better, kinder - to just⊠float away.âÂ
He wants to float away, some days. When the pressure gets to him, though that is not even half as often as it used to be, or when he feels the walls close in. It never matters, in the end. He stays. Stayed. Will stay.
âYou and I,â the redhead started up again, a hand stretching out to gain its own luminescence under the moonlight, âwe, too, will pass by some day.â Perhaps this is a strange thing to be speaking of to someone he barely knows let alone someone he teaches occasionally, but Hyunseung has never been much for shame nor what is correct, anyway. âAnd when we go, where it is we head seems to be the last great debate of all mortality.â He has never placed much stock in the mortal interpretation of things; there is something about the long stretch of time that allowed the mind to wander.Â
Religion, especially. The prince did not understand religion, why it was that there could be martyrs and saints and extremists who all use the same excuse and saw no irony in it. âDo you speak to those you raise?â The question slipped out unchecked, inelegant, but he let it go. There was no taking back what had been done, after all. For all that he could wish to travel back in time it wasnât that easy. âAh⊠my apologies.â He offered an olive branch nonetheless, knowing the territory they tread was thin and prone to crumble at any point.Â
âA realmâŠâ his voice, warm rosewood and only just loud enough to be easily heard, trailed off as he let the idea sink in. âIn-between? Is that where they go, then, these shadowy souls whose time has both come and is yet to come?â He can understand that, the idea of an ending being a beginning of an ending. The ouroboros - an endless circle. âAn Escher illusion,â he chuckled, âof which we can make neither head nor tail. So you believe in reincarnation, then?â He does, too, but the word was something he had started to learn to hate.
âHyuna,â the topic took a sharp turn, veering away from its origin and out into the wilderness, âwhy do mortals fear death?â He knows why an immortal would fear it, but- âis it not an inevitability? Why fear what will happen regardless of that fear⊠or a lack thereof?â
Her head tilted to the side as he questioned her, âWould it be though? Would it truly be kinder for those left behind after youâve floated away? I donât think the ones who float away realize that there is an aftermath. There are those who are left behind to deal and some of them donât. Some find their own way to float away, as you put it and others, others remain trapped. Lost within a memory.â Her voice trailed off, the sadness clear and yet for the first time in a long while, she wasnât trying to hide that.
A moment of silence seemed to slip in-between them once again and her mind raced until his voice brought her attention back. The question he asked, however, completely caught her off guard. She probably shouldnât have been surprised, he was a teacher after all. Of course he knew what they what each student was. They had to. To be constantly vigilant in keeping the peace as well as knowing how to deal with someone should they get out of hand. She let his words float there between them a moment, his hurried apology quickly ignored. âI do.â she spoke softly. âI see them. Hear them. Speak to them. Some of them simply want someone to listen, to know how they came to be where they seem to have found themselves.â
She paused, not all of them were that way though. âBut there are some who simply exist to do damage. To hurt those who have hurt them, to find their vengeance. Those are the ones I avoid. I refuse to let myself be taken over for those purposes.â Her voice dropped to a whisper, her arms hugging her knees ever tighter to her chest. Dark thoughts such as this left her cold, which would have been an amusing thought were it not for the nature of their conversation.
It seemed his mind jumped from thought to thought. âI suppose I do, yes. I feel as if Iâve seen too much to believe that a physical death is the ultimate end. There is more, how we get from one to the next is the true mystery.â Her eyes met his a moment as his next question was launched at her. Again she took a moment to consider. âThey fear it because they think they havenât done enough. When time is finite and you dream of a million and one things to do, when the end draws near they are reminded of the things they have yet to do and so they fear they have missed out. Being mortal, I donât fear death. I accept it, but there again, I donât believe that death is the end. It canât be.â

A Lovely Melody || Hyuna & Taemin
Taemin had continued to brush his fingers over the keys, not really focusing on the one behind him, but he did listen, tipping his head slightly when she finally spoke up. The voice was familiar, but he only paused for a moment to think, then continued on with a softer melody, staring rather distantly at the keys.
This time he did stop though, looking back to her at the compliment. Smiling brightly, he shifted over on the stool, making more than enough room for her, âCome sit, I can show you?â He offered, bright blue eyes no longer showing the overly serious side of him as they had been just moments before. He seemed to be able to swap between these two types of personalities pretty well, even if he probably didnât notice just how quickly he jumped.
âHyuna, right?â How he remembered her name, he had no idea. But he turned to focus back on the piano, using just his index finger to play a small tune, one of the classic âchildrenâs songsâ that everyone seemed to learn early on.
She hesitated, but only for a moment. Nodding, she walked over to join him, setting her bag down on the floor. A soft smile graced her lips as he asked her name, a quick nod confirming. âIâm surprised you remembered.â She watched his hands, his thin fingers lovingly brushing over the keys. It seemed that he enjoyed playing quite a bit. Enough even to want to teach her.
Biting her lip, she listened to the childlike melody and smiled, âI remember hearing this when my friend used to have to practice.â She paused a moment, her mind bringing forth the memories that normally she would have forced back. She couldnât do it anymore. Couldnât hide from the loss. Couldnât hold it.
âHe used to get so jealous because while he played, I got to draw. He seemed to think that was easier or more fun, but honestly, I loved to hear him play. I think there is something to be said about people who play piano well.â She trailed off, realizing she was probably talking way too much.
She tilted her head to the side, getting a clear view of the way his fingers were positioned. She tentatively reached out and placed her fingers on the keys, her hands mimicking the way he held his. âIs this right?â she asked softly. The keys felt smooth beneath her fingertips, not necessarily cool, but then again most things didnât feel cool to her.
Testing, she pressed down on a key, the note interrupting his fun and light melody. Her eyes widened and she looked at him a moment, âSorry. I didnât mean to mess you up.â Her cheeks heated and she shook her head, her hair falling as a blonde curtain to hide her rosy cheeks from his view.

Question...
Alrighty people, I am going to get real with you all for a moment. Ahem.
You may, or may not, have noticed a steady decrease in my activity. I canât say my activity has always been super high, but it was decent enough. In the past few weeks, I have done absolutely nothing and if Iâm being honest it partially bugs me.
Anyone who knows me knows that I put effort and time and thought into everything I put out. I enjoy story building. I enjoy talking out ideas. I enjoy making them come to life and I also enjoy when they take unexpected turns. In the like 9 years Iâve been RPing, through countless directories and RP partners and groups of people, Iâve never completely lost a muse before.
Iâve let some go. Iâve scrapped some and rebuilt them. I have even just taken a break and worked my way back into things. For the first time though, Iâm at a loss. I havenât been able to write and itâs not from lack of wanting to. I mean I canât tell you how many days I have sat and talked myself into excitement over my muse only to come home, open up tumblr and just stare at a screen.
I canât even write with certain people whose interactions have always come easiest to me. Honestly, Iâm completely at a loss here. Iâve put 2 years of work in here. I have kept this muse alive and with this directory for quite a while. I think thatâs part of the reason why it bothers me so much that I havenât been able to do anything. I feel like this shouldnât be happening.
Long story short, I am sorry. Sorry for not being here and sorry for consistently saying Iâm sorry. Iâve decided to give myself til the end of the month. If I canât get myself back into writing for my darling muse here, I may have to let her fade. I donât want to. Particularly because there are certain plots that are slated to start and I so badly WANT to see them happen, but Iâm at the point where I just canât anymore.
I donât know. Has anyone else gone through this? Did you find your way back? Is there a way back? I donât know. Any advice at this moment would be helpful. Iâve talked to a couple people about this so far and I thought I would bring this to the rest of you and see what feedback, if any, you guys may have. Drop me a message in the inbox or get my contact info off my page.
Thanks for reading this insanely long rambling. I am going to stare at my owed replies and hope that something grabs me and gets me going again.
Deep breath in, slow exhale
Hello everyone,
If youâre reading this, you can see that I still exist. I am alive, if only barely, and am super sorry for not being able to be here. Iâm not really sure where I thought working part time, going to school full time and balancing my sonâs school and activity schedule would be easy, but let me just say itâs been rough.
I think Iâm finally getting to a point where Iâve got a routine down, but itâs been kicking my butt in the mean time. I am hoping (read as praying) that I will find the time and energy to get some posts done. Iâve found myself online every so often, but itâs usually on Sunday and there is a part of me that feels that itâs wrong to participate on Sunday when I have done nothing in the week prior.
That being said, I am hoping to get at least 1 post done at some point tomorrow if not more. I feel like Iâm making a ton of excuses, but like this scheduling thing, along with leaving my current job and hustling to find a new one (WHICH I DID 2 DAYS AFTER QUITTING MY SHITTY JOB WITH NO BACKUP PLAN. I do not however recommend this, particularly if you have monetary responsibilities that your job funds.), as well as homework assignments and papers to write, combined with getting over being sick. I have just been asthiesomeonehelpmednfkfjdgn;dfbâ
So basically, the usual applies.
I know I have been sitting on some replies for like months and Iâm sorry. I feel like a jerk for that. If you want to drop, know that I COMPLETELY understand and all you have to do is let me know. Otherwise you can wander on over to my page and take a peek at the things I have on my tracker which is essentially everything I owe/hope to get done soon.
Thatâs kinda it. I can be found on Kakao or AIM, should anyone wish to talk at me. I may not respond instantly, but I will get back to you at some point. Otherwise, feel free to invade my inbox.
Iâm out for now. I need rest as I feel super drained. Have a lovely weekend everyone! Stay healthy and happy!

Knife memw
Send me đȘ for my museâs reaction to yours shoving them against a wall and pressing a knife to their throat
She hadnât seen it coming and it took her by surprise as her head slammed against the wall. She tasted blood in her mouth as she bit her tongue and winced in pain. Her eyes were wide as they met Jieunâs and her heart beat was pounding in her chest. âJi-jieun... what the fu-â Her words were cut off as a knife was pressed to her throat. The panic that filled her was momentary as her eyes slid shut for just a moment. She wasnât sure what was happening or why, but she knew that this could very well be her end. She braced herself for the pain, the cut that she knew was coming. She counted it down in her mind, 3...2...1. When nothing came she opened her eyes again and looked at her friend. She reached up with her hand and pulled Jieunâs hand away from her throat, using the wall to push the other back. Her eyes narrowed as she stood staring, the moment tense for a second before she burst out laughing, âReally? A butter knife?â She shook her head and gave the angel a playful shove, âYou brat, you made me bite my tongue.â she frowned.
{ You keep doing you, boo boo. Just know that I love you both in character and out. There aren't enough characters in the world to describe how wonderful you are }
( Awwwww! Thank you! This means a lot to me and itâs a nice message to get as I make my way thorough my first week of school in like forever! Thank you so so much and I love you too! <3)
A strange grape ⫠|| Hyuna & Emma
emma-ia:
The young vampire did not consume food like ordinary people would but sometimes she would be a little naughty and pop in a piece of food just to see how it tasted. Gross, usually, because all she craved was blood.Â
The grape she had chewed on had left a very nasty aftertaste however. âI want these words to make things right..â she sang and grasped her mouth in horror âOne more line and one more time, thanks for the memories!â Oh no!Â
It seemed as if there were quite a few odd things happening all around the academy. What she wasnât sure of was the source, but part of her already knew not to question it. It was Insolitus. She had been there for nearly two years already and she wondered why anything surprised her anymore. As she made her way along she saw some rather curious things, shaking her head she continued on her way, stopping when she heard someone sing out a familiar melody. It struck her as odd, especially since it was a song she had been listening to earlier.  With a smirk she lent her voice to the song singing out â Even though they weren't so great. He tastes like you, only sweeterâÂ
