❝ Mesmerized ❞ || Momo & Nevaeh
The young witch was sitting up in a tree, not too high, the first branch nearest to the floor. She could see all that’s around her and be seen by all. In her hands was her drawing pad and a pencil that changed its colors using thoughts, a gift to her from a clan member. While flipping her pencil in her, she tried to come up with a new design of a sword that was tailored just for her. Momo liked thin swords, so she already had the base drawn down. All she needed were the details and how it was going to work.
Looking back up, her eyes landed on the sight of a beautiful woman, one that she couldn’t help but admire, yet envy a little. It wasn’t an unhealthy envy, just a little bit of jealousy that didn’t bubble too much. She let out a sigh, probably loud enough for the other to hear. “You’re so pretty.” She had breathed out.
Nevaeh’s brows slightly rose in wonder, head slightly tilted with eyes drawn up towards the direction of the voice. A literally bright and seemingly cheerful maiden came into view. She didn’t deter herself from giving the other a warm smile in contrast to her crystal blue ones and a small wave of her right hand greeting the other with a soft yet audible hi.
Nevaeh surely heard the compliment though unsure if it was directed to her, to someone behind her, or to herself. And so, she just kept it at the back of her mind but without asking for clarification since she thought it wasn’t necessary. Instead, she approached the maiden in a friendly manner, interested in her work, however, keeping a two-yard distance after sensing heat surrounding the other. “Hello,” her voice sounded sweet as she smiled, “It’s my first time seeing you around here. Are you… perhaps, new?”
