wavy, splashy and sleepy boat ride to coron - we had to ride a passenger boat for about 7hrs. it's bigger than the island hopping kind but far from being a fast craft. it wasn't a very fun and comfy ride with all the waves coming our way. I would've love to stay outside and seat on the side planks if not for the stinging heat of the sun. we slept most of the time, all the while trying to avoid any sign of sea sickness. and we survived. another experience worth keeping.

probably one of the best places I've stayed at. we owned the fine beach for several days, swimming in its majestic waters with only some local kids to share it with. every day was spent with breathtaking views of nature and the soothing sound of the ocean. no loud music, no tourists, no pollution. this is the kind of life I've always wanted.

winter has started when we arrived in hanoi. we're so prepared we didn't even bring a sweater. we had to walk outside wearing only one layer of clothing; the warmest I have is a 3/4 shirt and a pair of loose pants. locals and tourists ask us if we're not feeling cold. I guess we just got immune to the chilly climate.
