Join us and dozens of your other favorite companies like Etsy, Vimeo, Reddit, and GitHub to raise awareness with the Red Alert campaign being run by Battle for the Net. Just add this small widget to your Tumblr to let your followers know how they can contact their reps. It’s as easy as copying and pasting the small line of code right into the customize theme page on the web.

19673 The only thing that puts me off buying a meet and greet for Halestorm again is because I bought one for when I saw them back in 2012. I never got an email explaining when to get to the venue, so I turned up around 12 in the afternoon and showed them my ticket, and the staff didn’t have a clue when it would happen. They asked me to come back to the venue at 6pm, so I did, and the staff then told me that it had already happened. I was so mad! They took my phone number and said that they would contact me to meet them…they never did. I really enjoyed the live show, but the whole meet and greet situation kinda ruined it for me.

Perhaps the email ended up in the spam folder somehow? Also, if you had stayed at the venue they would’ve sent the VIP M&G people inside when it was time. I’ve done a Halestorm meet and greet 3 times and never had a problem.

Welp. America is ruined.

Good job, America. You’ve elected Donald Trump, a man who brags about grabbing women by their hoo-has and promotes hate and ignorance. In doing so, you’ve empowered all of the bigots and misogynists in the country and caused them to crawl out of the ground like the disgusting creatures that they are. America has officially gone backwards.

Fortunately, in the 25 years I’ve been alive, I haven’t had any racist/sexist encounters despite being a black female. I live in NJ, just a 45 minute bus ride away from New York City.  I love hanging around the city, going to familiar places and even discovering new places. I don’t bother anyone and no one bothers me. If there was ever a time where I didn’t want to take a bus into the city, it would simply be a result of laziness or not having the money at the moment. But now that all the ignorant jackasses are on the loose, my reason for not going to one of my favorite places in the world is for my own safety.

It breaks my heart that it’s come to this. Why is it that so many people are filled with so much hate that it’s become socially acceptable to attack blacks, Muslims, immigrants, and the LGBT community? It doesn’t matter to these @$$holes if these people are here legally and have never hurt anyone. It doesn’t matter if they have a legit American citizenship. It doesn’t matter if they were born and raised in America. They’re all being told to “go back to their country”. Guess what, you disgusting excuse for humans; these people have EVERY right to be here whether you like it or not. If you don’t like it, perhaps YOU should leave. We’re not going anywhere.
