Small (and by my standards simple) miniature project— building a home for a Goblin King figurine I was gifted a couple years ago! Goblins and throne back sculpted from polymer clay, background from air dry clay, and painted with acrylics. 10”x10” in an extra deep 4.5” shadow box (pictures taken before placed in box due to glare from the glass).

I’ve spent a week losing my mind!! 🧸📕🔮🦉

For my fellow Labyrinth (1986) fans, definitely tested my miniature making skills with over 75 hours over a week. Picking apart a dozen tricky screen caps for references, Sarah’s room is fascinating and daunting to capture so small— some things aren’t exact but I tried to get it as close as I could given the size of the container and my materials. Felt, cardboard, polymer clay, scrap fabric, wood, paint and paper (NFS).

here is a fact for you: rescued baby bats are regularly given little blankets and swaddled up like itty bitty bat burritos! this is a whole Thing

Oh, and sometimes they get tiny pillows!

And they get fed out of teensy baby bottles!

They are even given mini bat pacifiers to nurse on 💕
