Reginald stated before “killing” Luther that’s the “best way to bring a family together is at a wedding…or a funeral”

What if Reginald in the Umbrella!Timeline killed Umbrella!Ben to bring the family together? I know the “Jennifer Incident” was mentioned several times during the season as the cause of Umbrella!Bens death. But what if that’s just what the siblings are lead to believe.

During the time that Ben died the kids would’ve been around 17… around the time they started developing their own life paths and splitting up. Maybe Bens death was the only thing Reginald saw fit of keeping the family together?
