"why would you say it like that" of course the way i talk about rape and incest is crass. like do you want me to be delicate. do you want me to speak around it and with formal legal terms and clinical language. do you want me to be gentle. because i have specific personal reasons why i'm crass about it and why i don't bother to sound respectful or inoffensive. rape is inherently offensive. you may talk about it however you please but i like to look at it in the face and talk about it like i talk about anything else (sarcastically, bluntly, meanly, ironically). i don't believe in the aura of mysticism and tender coddling that a lot of language surrounding sexual assault and incest and abuse comes with. i am not a professional. i don't care about the people reading my posts and feeling taken aback. if that bothers you then you should block me
