⚛ —"Man, it’s freezing out this morning." The comment was spoken through the crisp air as he rubbed his hands together and trudged down the dirty road, a small shiver running down his spine. The sun had just barely come up yet and the fog was heavy.  

⚛ — As he continued to walk he noticed a few figures come into view and he perked up, raising an eyebrows he approached them. “Ah, good morning."

Lan Fan shivered; the cool air wasn’t even something she had been trained to endure. She wished she was wearing something more than just the standard Xingese retainer uniform.  She quietly wrapped her arms around herself and rubbed her arm in attempt to keep warm, an activity that kept her so busy she almost didn’t notice the stranger walking up to her.

However, her head perked up last moment. She quietly observed the stranger as he greeted her. ”Good morning,” she replied, nodding at him. He didn’t seem to be harmful.

⚛ — Winter was arriving pretty quickly, he couldn't help but wonder how that would effect some of their lessons in the school, he knew it would be impossible to do anything involving plant life, unless they were in the Greenhouses-- he supposed. 

⚛ — "Oh!" Looking up to meet the other with squinted yet somehow friendly eyes, he raised both eyebrows. She didn't seem familiar to him at all, was she from another department maybe? The next thing that caught his eye was what she was wearing, it looked like very old fashioned armor-- not quite Japanese, either. How odd. "Have we met before? I don't recognize you."

Greed gripped the end of his sleeve, and pulled it over his forearm. He then repeated the process with the other. He wouldn’t be able to get hypothermia or anything, and it wasn’t like he was freezing. But the crisp air repeatedly brushing his cheeks was irritating to no end. He brought up a hand to rub his cheeks, but then paused once he saw a boy approach him.

"Morning….."

⚛ — He didn't recognize the other as he finally came into view, and he just assumed it was an upperclassman. So, stopping in his tracks he offered a small nod. "It seems I'm not the only one not looking forward to winter, that's good at least...." A small laugh escaped him and he rubbed his forearms with his gloved hands, yet another shiver running through him. "Ah, my name is Aikawa Shinnosuke, I'm a first year in the Dairy program. How about you?"

⚛ —  A pause, suddenly a shocked expression forming across his face at her words. “E…excuse me?!" Waving his hands in front of him, he shook his head. “T-that would result in expulsion!"

Snickering and lifting her hand to keep herself from outright cackling, Yin leaned back on her heels and flattened her palm on her chest. "Ho my god— I’m kidding, I’m kidding, relax! Your face—pffft!"

⚛ —"T...that isn't funny..." A soft groan escaped him and he sounded more exasperated than anything. Perhaps he'd over reacted, and thinking on it-- he had, a slight flush of embarrassment painting his cheeks. "Ah...well it's nice to meet you, miss...."Straightening up, he offered a smile, a bit forced but he was slowly recollecting himself.

Bringing up his nervousness only made the laughter die off nervously as well. “Ah, well you see— I’m not particularly used to such large groups coming up to me like this. Maybe I’m just getting to used to being around the same people nonstop.”

This other man did seem a bit cheery, with his own way of greeting Ishimaru. Well, he couldn’t really tell if this person was a teenager like himself or perhaps a young adult, as looks can be ultimately deceiving. “Ah, well I come from the Kantō island region of Japan so that would explain why you have never seen me before."
