Picking up on his alternate’s unease, he smiles back warmly and reassuringly before nodding in a direction for him to follow. It was dark, yet comforting in a way with wisps of magic and souls illuminating parts of the cavernous area. Indistinct whispers echoed back and forth as they passed, sometimes with the sensation of ghosting hands near them.

Suddenly the deity spoke once more, glancing over his shoulder as he walked.

“So how exactly did you get here? I’m quite curious.”
