Astrindis: "Here we are, this is Shadowmoon."
Spirit looked around. "Well, I can't say even Grizzly Hills hold's a candle to this place.." She stated in awe. "Look at this Tree!" She shouted in excitement.
Astrindis: "It's like a World Tree, almost..."
Spirit looked to the man. "Sorta-- though I think the tree in Hyjal is probably a hundered times larger." She laughed light, as she turned to look outside. "-and.. it's raining." She paused. "I wanted to dry off." She whined.
Astrindis would take her by the hand and pull her in close as he worded a spell and a thin sheet of glass-like ice hovered overhead. "I can keep you dry." He smiled at her while holding a tight, loving grasp on her hand."
Spirit smiled over to the man, before leaning over to press a kiss against his cheek. "You're far too sweet. You know." She stated just audibly. "Though, I think we could bear to take a bit of a rest and hope the rain clears in a few minutes." She stated. "Mostly because where we're going is supposed to be muddy.. I doubt we want to trek through that as it's raining." She smirked.
Astrindis rested his head against hers as he wrapped an arm around her waist, still holding her hand. "I love you." He said softly and sweetly.
Spirit kept her free arm covering herself without effort. She'd lightly nudge her head upwards as an affectionate gesture. "I love you too, Astrindis." Shortly after she uttered this she'd pull from the man to walk over to where the tree met the ground. For such a rainy day, the grass within the tree seemed to be mostly dry aside from where the pond was. She'd settle against the tree as she pulled her hood off, and set her bow to her side. She'd carefully begin to fiddle with her feathers, all while trying to hide herself. So much effort.
Astrindis would follow after Celedith and place himself next to her, staring outwards toward the pond. "This is rather peaceful..." He'd say softly, as to not disturb the peace. He kept quiet after that, being lost in his own thoughts.
Spirit leaned her head against his shoulder, her curly tresses dry despite the rain they'd come in through. "It is. It's hard to believe a land more war torn than even Azeroth holds such spots." She paused. "Of course, I am not opposed-- it's nice." She spoke softly, before raising her eye's to the man. "I'm glad to be here with you, I can't think of a single person I'd rather have along for the ride." She smiled.
Astrindis would smile back at her as he took her hand once more, despite whatever she was doing. "I feel the same. I'm fortuitous to be able to spend my time here with you."
Spirit rested her free arm against her chest as he took her hand. She'd continue to gaze up to him, as she offered his hand a bit of a squeeze in response. "Are you happy, Astrindis?" She asked. "As a whole?" She furthered her statement. It felt foolish to ask such a question due to their current exchange of words, but she asked anyway.
Astrindis would look to the pond before changing his gaze back to her, a crooked smile spreading wide across his lips, "With you, I am." He'd say with as much honesty as he was able to spare. He squeezed her hand in assurance.
Spirit followed his gaze, her eye's flickering to the pond briefly as his did. She'd return her gaze to his as he looked back to her. She'd mirror that smile of his as he spoke. "I hope that never changes." She spoke softly. "You deserve to be happy more than most I've met." She added.
Astrindis would move in to kiss her as he whispered softly into her ear, "Thank you..." He'd say, his voice drifting off near the end as he allow his lips to meet hers. A small portion of tears fell from his eyes, though they were not tears of sadness, yet happiness.
Spirit turned herself a bit to accept this kiss, pressing her palms to his jawline, as if to cradle his face. She'd thumb over those tears as to keep them from staining his face. She would draw a soft breath as she broke their kiss. "There's no need to weep." She'd whisper, despite the fact that they were in happiness. "Nor is there a need to thank me, Astrindis. I love you-- and with that, my job is to assure your happiness to the best of my ability." She added, her voice soft and sweet. She'd release his face, allowing her hand to trail down his chest to find his hand once more.
Astrindis didn't say anything as the tears lessened as they fell, he held her hand and rested his face against hers. He didn't know what to say... so he simply said nothing.
Spirit didn't seem to mind the silence, in fact she remained quiet as well. Occasionally pressing a kiss against his visage, wherever her lips fell she cared not. It seemed all she cared for was showering the man in affection.
Astrindis looked up a moment, "Is the rain stopping...?" He asked softly.
Spirit turned her head. "Mm.. It doesn't seem to be letting up." She spoke, before turning to look at him. "But, if you wish we may continue. It's been a pleasant rest." She stated.
Astrindis nodded, "Let's go..." He said as he slowly got to his feet.
