I will shout to anyone who will listen that the novelisation for Revenge of the Sith made me angry about the movie. That book is FIRE, and after that I was disappointed in the movie we actually got. It's still a good movie, but it makes me sad that a better version was RIGHT THERE.

Also I HIGHLY recommend reading the follow up - Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader by James Luceno. All about that transition period for Vader being a newly minted machine man and dealing with the aftermath.
