Social media refers to the means of interactions among people in which they create, share, and/or exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks. Social media has become an important communication medium and whether we like it or not, social media is here to stay. The Office of Communications and Marketing manages the main Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Vimeo accounts.

Social media plays an important role in every student’s life. It is easier and convenient to access information, provide information and communicate via social media. Teachers and students are connected to each other and can make good use of these platforms for the working of their education.

History of Social Media

The roots of social media stretch far deeper than you might imagine. Although it seems like a new trend, sites like Facebook are the natural outcome of many centuries of social media development. Social networks are now so well established, that there is a core top five social networks that don't change much from year to year. But, as we'll see in this post, the most popular social media sites vary a lot by level of usage in different countries and demographics. But most of use dont really know about the full history about the social media.

Bullying

Have you ever experienced bullied or been bullied? If you have bullied or been bullied then you should know how bullying feels like. Bullying in schools has become very common and it has led to some very serious consequences. It has led to physical violence in forms of fight. Bullying is very negative and creates major problems for our society. Nothing good comes out of bullying. It could very well change or ruin a person’s life. In fact, it does ruin many people’s lives.  

But does age makes a different when it comes to those types of bullying? No! Bullying doesn’t know ages. Bullying is different when comes to boys or girls. Bullying has become  a major concern for parents, teacher, principals, school administrators, celebrities and kids. Bullying is a repetitious behavior including making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally and or excluding someone from a group on purpose.

Some children who experienced being bullied suffered from psychological damages. They lose interest to perform academically or begin to disassociate themselves from others do to humiliation or embarrassment and some commit suicide and many people are on depression because of bullying.

Success is simply the feeling of satisfaction and happiness one gets from leading a particular way of life or carrying out a particular activity. Success in any field or aspect of life can only be achieved through serious hard work and a little bit of opportunity. One of the most important recipes of success is determination and it might as well be the most important secret of success. To become successful, it is necessary to never give up until the aim of happiness and satisfaction in life is fully met. The happiness and satisfaction can be found in very different things in different people. Success is much more than riches, power or fame.
