Heavy in the air was the splash of red that Saix known for years in the underground and the shining badge he worn over his breast. Off-duty business would’ve surely entitled him the benefit of relaxation, keeping his mind wandering not about the next day, but, how he’ll spend the next hour in solace with himself. Regardless, the lengthy and loosely braided beryl tresses of his hair rose as his nose wrinkled. His back though turned towards the chattering and excessive ranting of party-goers never meant he kept his attention aloof. The sharpened tips of his ears twitched, gathering the gasps and shrill silence to be a contributing effect from the ghastly scent of iron in the air.
“What the hell did he do?!” One voice gasped, feminine in her mid-twenties and never had dealt with blood, he could tell by the exaggeration in her tone. “Someone call the cops!” Another voice demanded, older than the last but just as naive from how aggressive he sounded. Perhaps, he was only calling out that request to avoid responsibility if he began fighting.
Saix glanced downwards at his chilled fingers, flexing them in and out. He glanced once more to his glass, reserving his breath of disappointment from leaving. Alas, patrolling wasn’t under his pay grade, it was of the many duties he served as the head of his department. By the duties bested in his heart, he must serve the community to its finest., even if he wasn’t within his district, to begin with. Hopefully, superintendent Feitan wouldn’t be insulted that the Danon superintendent stepped in.
“I can handle it.” Clearing his throat as he announced himself, the officer parted from his seat from the counter. However, he slipped several dollars to the poor bartender who paid witness to whoever had been bleeding out. A friendly tip for the horrors of tonight, that should make up for him not finishing his drink too.
At the disposal of eyes now bearing into his skin, the man of 5′11″ glared around the room and, as expected, the sea of people either looked away or stepped away. His hands rested at the side of his pockets, quick to rest his right palm over the pocket where his badge and wallet resided.
One turn of the cheek and he had spotted the culprit, a clueless one at that. Candycane straying white hairs bundled with red were aimlessly standing near the bar, flesh tattered with bruises and blood. It wasn’t hard to tell that this man was an employee of the bar, given the uniform.
Saix took a step forward, not minding if the man was conscious enough or not dazed enough to be able to communicate. Regardless, immediate treatment and isolation were imperative to his conduct.
“Good evening, can you explain the blood on your body? You’re causing some distress.”
Sekizan had a game today, it wasn’t anything major of course but even then, he took it seriously. If he didn’t, he’d be underestimating his opponents. Of course though, he also had work that night. It was a good thing the game was held during the afternoon and that it wouldn’t end too late. A good thing his boss had altered his schedule for just this week. Though when it came to games, Sekizan never did care for his well being. The rush always manages to cover up the pain, numbing it for a while.
He got a few cuts, bruises, and blood by the end of the game. A normal thing for a dangerous sports like Rugby. His coach bandaged him up as best as they could, the nurse wasn’t around at the time and the campus was closed too, so it was just a quick fix. He even made him shower first just to clean up. Though because the first aid wasn’t the best, eventually, it’ll start to wear out.
Sekizan managed to go through half of the night without having to worry his boss over the mess, but he did warn him that it’ll eventually wear out. He wasn’t so sure when, he wouldn’t be able to tell. He couldn’t tell from the distress he was causing too. He just simply thought because of his intimidating stature, that people stay away. He noticed they were whispering amongst themselves, just not sure as to what.
He just assume because of his already intimidating self along with the bruises and such was causing it. Though he wasn’t aware it was because of the blood that was already showing and staining his clothes. Not until one of the guests had approached him and spoke to him about it.
❝..Blood..?❞ He carefully moves his hand up to his head and touched the side of it. He looks to it and saw the blood on it. Ah, it worn out. He looks back down at the other male.
❝Rugby.. the university had a game. The nurse wasn’t around by the end of it and my coach tried to apply first aid. The university was closed too since it just ended few hours ago, sir.❞
