🌿Magical herbal salt🎀

Hi!🌹 Today I want to share here one of my magic salt recipes!🔮💜

First at all I took some fresh herbs from my little balcony garden and rock salt.🌱

Salt is a crystalline mineral made of two elements, sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl).Salt magical properties are cleansing, purification, protection.

I used Parsley, Lavender, Basil and Marjoram.

Herbs magical properties are:

Parsley - increase strength, vitality and passion.Parsley is also supposed to protect food from contamination.🌿

Basil - helps steady the mind, brings happiness, love, peace, and money and protects against insanity.🌿

Marjoram - cleansing, purification, and dispelling negativity.🌿

Lavender -love, healing, purification, sleep and beauty.🌿

So that all herbs make my salt more magical and powerful!🌙🔮

I used mortar and pestle to mix that all.🌿After that I added my salt into glass jar and I left in on my altar🔮.

I will add my herbal salt to everything that I cook.

Also I will use it for my protection spells and rituals.🔮

Small Witchy Things To Do

soooo if you’re like meeee then you spend a lot of your summer with family (which isn’t bad!!) Some families just aren’t very accepting of witches. I generally have to be more discreet about my craft around family so here are some things I do!

Spend more time outside!!! It might seem super super simple but honestly I feel closer to my craft while listening to birds sing and reading a nice book! Maybe you’ll even make friends with a local outdoor cat (I have and omfg she’s so sweeeet! She stops by every day to say hello. Please don’t go about petting random strays!! I know the cat I pet has her shots!!)

Charge your morning drinks to set your intentions for the day! This can be sooooo so so helpful and it’s really easy and family barely notices when I do it. For me it’s as simple as placing a crystal next to a coffee machine and focusing on whatever my intent is as it’s brewing. (I usually use blue goldstone for creativity!! But some other good things to use would be tigers eye and maybe moonstone or canilian.)

Charge your soaps with positive energy! I really love doing this. Many people have a every day skin care routines and adding a little blessing here and there to your face soap is always a good idea!

Compliment nature, your local forest spirits will love it! I’m sure if you say “wow those flowers are pretty!!” no one will find it strange! Forest spirits are incredibly amazing so I try and compliment what they create any chance I get!

Ground yourself as often as you can. Grounding can be as simple as imagining roots under your feet connecting to the ground for me! It’s easy and can make you feel so much more connected.

The Dokkodo

The Dokkodo or “The Way of Walking Alone” was written by Miyamoto Musashi one week before dying, for the occasion where Musashi was giving away his possessions in preparation for death.

It was given to Terao Magonojo, his most skilled disciple in Niten-Ichi-Ryu. After the Gorin-No-Sho, Dokkodo is the summary of Musashi’s life, his will and his philosophy.

The 21 precepts of Dokkodo:

1. Accept everything just the way it is. 2. Do not seek pleasure for its own sake. 3. Do not, under any circumstances, depend on a partial feeling. 4. Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world. 5. Be detached from desire your whole life long. 6. Do not regret what you have done. 7. Never be jealous. 8. Never let yourself be saddened by a separation. 9. Resentment and complaint are appropriate neither for oneself or others. 10. Do not let yourself be guided by the feeling of lust or love. 11. In all things have no preferences. 12. Be indifferent to where you live. 13. Do not pursue the taste of good food. 14. Do not hold on to possessions you no longer need. 15. Do not act following customary beliefs. 16. Do not collect weapons or practice with weapons beyond what is useful. 17. Do not fear death. 18. Do not seek to possess either goods or fiefs for your old age. 19. Respect Buddha and the gods without counting on their help. 20. You may abandon your own body but you must preserve your honour. 21. Never stray from the Way.

1- The Animal - Use your instinct. Don’t try to rationalize it. You just need to feel your way through. Do what comes naturally.

2- The Cake, reversed - Stop viewing relationships and interactions as something that you could benefit from. Don’t think “I’m going to be nice to her so I can borrow her notes” or “I’ll be kind here because I need recommendation letters.” Approach people with no intention of getting something out if it, and simply experience the presence of others as it comes.

3- The Arrow, reversed - Look to those very different from you. In their contrast, find friction. Find energy. Find power.

4- Negative Energy, reversed - You’re trying to make reality what you think it is. There is bad. There is evil. There is negative energy. There are terrible things that would break your soul and your heart and make you want to crawl away and hide. You have to accept that, before you can face the good. Reality is beautiful. There is much good. But you can’t will away the bad.

5-  The Sun, reversed - There is a certain reality in your bones. A certain understanding that things aren’t as simple and bright as many may believe. Use that to your advantage. Learnt to truly accept this that you know.

6-  Waves, reversed - Many people have to take much time to truly understand that there is more evil than they know, much less accept it. You’re a step ahead. You needed make this into a revelation. All you need is to accept it and move along smoothly. It’s nothing new.

I got the amazing opportunity to visit my rock dealer’s (aka @bekkathyst ) crystal warehouse yesterday. Here are just a few of the beauties I saw yesterday. 😍😍😍

Sadly I did not notice Scully but I will make it to him by bringing him a crown to wear next time I visit. 💀
