A 98-year-old mother moved into an assisted living home to help look after her 80-year-old son. When Tom Keating moved into a Liverpool assisted care home for more day-to-day support, his mom followed a year later. Ada visits Tom’s room every morning and evening to check in on him, because she says “you never stop being a mum!” Source Source 2
DBS 128 was Toshio Yoshitaka’s last episode. He was one of my favorite writers on the series, being honest. And he had promised that he’d give Vegeta a “cool moment” in this episode. This episode had Vegeta drained, beaten, barely able to move, and still trying to fight Jiren. Refusing to just lay down and accept defeat, he kept attacking, kept trying for his family’s sake, and in the end finally lowered his pride enough to indeed give the absolute last of his energy to Goku to give him even a sliver of an improved chance to save their Universe. It was one of his best character moments since the Buu arc years ago, and was very commendable. Toshio, after the episode aired, took to Twitter to tweet out one last goodbye.
Many, most even, of the replies were gracious thank yous and goodbyes, even from people unsatisfied with the episode itself (a topic for another post altogether) But some of the replies he got… were ridiculous.
I’m actually a tad speechless at some of this. But thankfully people at least came to his defense. But my gosh, the entitlement some people feel, the sheer lack of proper conduct or tact… oy. I sincerely hope the positivity buried these and he doesn’t have to read them.
On a related note: I really dunno how anyone can look at what Vegeta did this episode and think it was uncool or pathetic. Then again this is the same fanbase that clowns Krillin whenever he does similar so really what did I expect?
The Dream A Reality
Ever Since Seeing Chowpeng’s Supra years ago i knew i wanted one his was in great condition and every part and mod was to support the previous mod he was in the stance game before it was even a thing his mods were before their time,Â
Then i saw Bonty’s supra when i moved back to St.kitts coming around a corner looking like Brian O’Conner Supra in The Fast & The Furious Orange with the bomex kit down to the hood with the cut out vents and big wing instantly fell in love with the curves and sound of the car
Eventually Saw Sherlock’s Manual Na-T supra with the full veilside kit jeeeez that car was sweet, it would leave smoke on every turn how easy it use to drift or do a stand still burnout, he crashed it after awhile and got a white turbo one with all the bits a supra should have then eventually going all out, I knew then supras were made for straight up power.
At this point i knew exactly what i wanted and what was my dream car especially seeing Manabu Orido Supra and the videos of it on the touge in japanÂ
All those vids of supras burning out and drag racing all those years of wanting one
all those nights thinking i would never get one all became a Reality on January 19th 2018Â Â
I would just like to thank all my Friends,Family and Car Brothers who stayed and heard me ramble about supras every day and every night
especially those who pushed me harder everyday to make my dream a reality
also would like to thank the previous owner Kareem Neptune just as much as anyone because if he didnt call me November 2nd around 7:30 to tell me he’s willing to sell i would not have this Supra todayÂ
