mundane. New York, 2018 by Jerrod La Rue.
the benighted ages of spiraling and self reflection. whom, myself or I? Jerrod La Rue.
I have photos and diary entries from Hong Kong for sell. Message me if you're interested, 8x10 prints and larger.
I don't mind the pace, I just wish my thoughts would slow down... Hong Kong, 2017. diary entries by Jerrod La Rue.
the memories I retain from my childhood make settings of the night unbelievably warm and the mornings so cold. So cold that I never wanted to get up…
journal entry by Jerrod La Rue.
Please post new photographs youve been MIA for a while now
I don’t have a computer right now, so please be patient with me. I have a lot coming soon.
an interview I did with Momo about his take on LA, some of the influences behind his work, and growing up in Palmdale.

the sea showed me something I've never experienced before.
the water was dark and I witnessed bioluminescent waves.
the waves were glowing blue, but everything around me was black.
the moon hardly lit my surroundings so it felt like my eyes needed to adjust, but never did.
the water was so inviting and as much as I hate cold water it was alluring; the sand fleas pushed me further and further into the ocean.
the cold water didn't feel cold anymore.
the push told me not to worry.
the pull told me to be more trusting.
the blue waves, the black sky, the warm air, they all taught me something tonight.
haven't been on here that much, but i'll be showing some of my new work at this gallery on Friday. Come chat, i'll be here.
does anyone know where i can find some 35mm ektachrome by tomorrow in the LA area?? or if anyone has some or one lemme buy it off ya
have you been to monterey? if so what do you think would be a cool place to visit there?
I have not, I want to do a lot more traveling though. Maybe this will be the year.
it’s dark outside, but so warm under this blanket

Where do you get your film developed?
the icon in los angeles
What film do you use for your night/low shots? I been looking for a few because I shoot with rather slow film(100 ISO) but I wanted to do some night shots without the need of a tripod(which I don't even own)
i use a tripod quite often or use something to prop my camera up, but fuji superia 1600 just came back to stores. i usually shoot with ektar or portra 160 at night(but this is obviously with a tripod). depending on your aperture and how dark you're going for there's a range of 800+ films, not to mention you can push film to a higher ISO. that's what i usually do. i've even pushed ektar 100 to 1350
I’m selling 8x10 prints from website with journal entries attached. you can choose any photo from my website and request any size! message me or email me if you’re interested, i also have 20x30 canvas photos and some 4x6 prints available!
