Raiden gave Jack a quick smirk before facing him away.

   ”Yea, it’s Raiden.” As if he’s going to give his real name out. For multiple of reasons. Besides that, it would be really awkward since they share the same name. But he guessed that he’ll find it out sooner or later.

    “And why are you apologizing? We got plentiful of time, don’t we?”

Damn, Jack loved that. He loved that smirk, the artificial jaw made it even more worth it. He slowly turned and carried on walking around the statue to the other side of it where a couple of loaders where carrying some kind of building material across the town center.

"I can make the time." Jack stated. Never mind all of the work today if he needed more time with Raiden, he'll have it.

"I guess next we should go to the factories..." he started changing the subject trying not to pipe the others interest a little too much.

    “I’m surprised about that myself actually.” Raiden replied innocently. He sure hoped to keep this up for both of their sake. 

Regardless, the cyborg would rather move on with sightseeing. The faster they get this over with the sooner they can chit chat. Besides, being in an still unknown place was a bit disturbing. 

     ”Actually, how about we move ahead as we chit-chat?” He motioned forward with his chin but still keeping his gaze on Jack.

Jack almost forgot he had to show Raiden around he was to busy getting interested in the other a little to fast.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that uuuh Raiden was it?" Jack was honestly trying he felt the other was just so interesting and didn't want to lose this one. Oh he knew this was bad, if he showed his softer side but he quickly shoved that thought away.

Jack’s mannerisms ended up looking amusing to Raiden. He wound up smiling at this point but it looked slightly awkward because of his artificial jaw. Even if Jack’s sarcasm was almost permanent and hard to catch up at the times it still was refreshing to speak to someone like him.

     ”Haha, true.” He laughed dryly, ” Maybe some day if we’ll happen to get a chance.” Feeling a bit nervous to have to laugh off such thing he fixed his hair strands that were falling down on his eye.

Jack noticed the others smile and honestly admired his artificial jaw, his interest in robots and such was from an early age but cyborgs were different in the best way. He himself managed to soften his smile making him less menacing so to say.

"We're already gettin' on great and you haven't even done any work yet. You've already gotten on my good side, somehow."

Jack was so perceptive, one of the reasons why he intimidated people, he never got such a reaction from someone usually it would be the "piss off" kind and he'd fire said worker right then and there. How was this vault hunter so patient?

   ”You sure are proud of all… This.” Raiden gestured at the statue first and then to places on his side. Then his hands returned to the previous position: crossed on his chest.

    “And speaking about the place where I’m from— I could show you if we’d find a suitable cable port somewhere. But what I can tell you that it doesn’t look.. well, deserted? I don’t know. You definitely can see more human faces around and a being like me isn’t something that they’d enjoy seeing in the streets.” And yet he promised not to speak much if not asked specifically. Maybe he’s missing his home?

Maybe a little bit. But he’ll get over.

"I sure am. This entire thing was literally a lot of blood and sweat I couldn't be prouder of myself." He brings a finger to his eye, as if wiping a tear. He turned to face the other, finally, when he spoke of home.

"Hmm? well at least I'm enjoying your company kiddo!" he laughed teasingly maybe sarcastically.

"If you want to show me I'll gladly look, as if you'd wanna get personal with me." Jack always did this kind of thing, tease. He got some kick out of it, It's almost like his smirk hasn't broke since they met.

                Hey— I have no idea of this place. What do you want?

Talk about being confused. This was nothing like his previous habitat. To be honest, before this meeting he didn’t really had time to grasp the basics because of how strange but alluring the environment was.

     ”Well thank you for telling me that much.” Raiden sounded almost angry but then he guessed that he’d get a reply of that sort.

     ”To be honest, this place is nothing like back at my home. I just cannot explain it, really.” The cyborg muttered quietly. If he couldn’t really explain it in words, perhaps he could somehow use his memory storage and show him the sights?

                   Save that for later, Raiden. If he’s not asking for anything - don’t even try to go ahead of things.

For a moment he paused, brushing his finger across his lower metalic lip in thought. 

      “Anyway— I can’t say that your place is bad.” He wasn’t being sarcastic at all.

Jack raised an eyebrow and turned his head slightly to look at the cyborg.

"Nothing like home huh?" He was intrigued he's met people from all around pandora and even in space but he has rarely visited any other planet a part from his home. 

He stumbled slightly over one of the steps down to the "town square" so to say where there was, well, a truly magnificent statue in his likeliness. 

"Well thanks, it is pretty amazing if i do say so myself."

the older man smirks as his confidence takes over again.

The first thought that popped up in his mind was: place names couldn’t be weirder. He found it a bit bizarre but then he was even more curious to explore. It was even better see his guide so fueled up.

    “So what’s this Opportunity place?” And here he goes, starting to ask questions like a small kid.

Jack was shocked Raiden didn't know of this place. Oh my god did he get a cyborg from another planet. His excitement stated bubbling up again, this was just so COOL. Wilhelm is technically some sort of cyborg but Wilhelm wasn't as bulky so to say as Raiden. 

"Are you kidding me kid? this is my city and your new home."

he walked down the corridor to the end door wondering now what the other man with him has seen. Like, has he seen anything like this before? what's his home place like? Jack knew getting this interested would be bad for progress but...it was just so cool. He tried to hide his excitement and keep cool in front of the other.

Raiden let out a hum filled with amusement and excitement as the other one encouraged them to go. He should get the most out of today so he could move on to his appointments later.

    “If you please—” he motioned for Jack to move on first leading the path with his metal hand.

Perhaps he could also use this little sightseeing trip to get his boss more?

He got some strange satisfying feeling when he hears the other hum and briskly turned to see the man behind him before making his way toward the open door of his office.

"Well, to Opportunity we go." Jack said with his back to raiden. He was practically bursting on the inside. He's proud of himself for achieving something as much as getting vault hunter. The thought get rolling around in his head and he just couldn't stay calm about it.

    “I feel almost hurt.” He spoke jokingly. But he surely understands his concerns.

What Raiden couldn’t help but notice is Jack’s reaction. It was different from before. But it might’ve been just him seeing things. 

     ”In the end if you’re feeling so uneasy about me wandering around alone why won’t you show me how things work here? Would be better that way, right?”

"Awh, I'm sorry sweet pea."

his lips seeped with sarcasm "returning" the joke so to speak. he stood up straight and looked into the cyborgs eyes, it was time to get down to business, kind of. He walked towards raiden, then past him brushing his arm against the others.

"I suppose you have a point... c'mon we've got places to go, people to see."

He was rather hesitant to leave at first but he has to do his job even if he wants to learn more about this man in his company.

     Oh, he took the hint. great.

Relieved, the cyborg sighed.Give him a break, it was his first day in this place. But then maybe there was no trial period to begin with?

     ”You seem to be tired actually. Maybe you should rest for a bit more?” And there Raiden was actually concerned. 

If he were still human he’d surely sleep for a short while but here he is, or what is left of him actually. He is something that does not require sleep at all. Maybe some rest to cool his nerves but that’s it.

     ”I can do on my own anyway.”

"Do you really think I'd just let the newbie, as impressive as you are, wander around willy nilly? the answer is not this soon kiddo."

he paused rather out of place for him before carrying on.

"Plus, I can't just rest yet god knows what the engineers would do."

he looks down subtly and grins slyly.

"-but thanks for the concern pumpkin~. "

The man takes a step back feeling a bit uncomfortable. It was hard to face Jack so Raiden diverted his gaze at the items on the desk. Some sort of distraction was a must at this point.

    “You sure have a strong opinion of me already.” Cyborg crossed his arms on his chest and glared at the other one with corner of his eye.

You couldn’t say that Raiden himself was really emotional, to some degree at least.

     ”In that case I suppose both of us should get the most of it.”

Jack notices the other's discomfort like a predator watching it's prey's every move. 

"What can i say, first impressions smiled upon you today."

he was already looking at the cyborg before he glared making their eyes meet rather uncomfortably. He places a hand on his hip and changes his stance at his glances down at his watch.

"Well, it's still pretty early.. hmm i wonder."

The Man scratches his chin with his left hand and looks up purposely wanted to get a reaction out of the cyborg.

The cyborg glances down at the hand that touched his shoulder then looks up at his superior again.  The other one was rather eccentric with it came down to his manners. Something Raiden wasn’t used to and wasn’t sure how to react .

    “Hehe—” The cyborg let out a quiet chuckle.

  This can’t go too well, can it?

    “Well, thank you. But my question is, just how am I so different from others?” He motioned back with his head as he referred to others. The man still remained serious even if the other one was suggesting to loosen up a bit.

He leans on the font of his desk, still facing the other, and tilts his head to the side a little.

"Well, the "others" hmm... they fear me so to speak and they aren't exactly the emotional type."

The hyperion engineers and body doubles offered some kind emotion but not the type jack was interested in they are just his pawns, The Loaders did the majority of his dirty work but this is the first time he actually let a vault hunter help him. 

"Well, this is the first time for both of us so i guess i am a little more riled than usual."

he spoke in a calm tone with that teasing smile making his intentions seem, well, less calm.

  Raiden’s eyes followed the other man’s movements but not an inch he moved. He’ll play along like that for a bit, later on he’ll try to change his attitude towards him. As much as Jack was above him he doesn’t like to be patronized at all. 

At the last remark his eyes widened in surprise. Well, he wasn’t wrong, neither he was entirely right.

   ”I’d be honest and say that this place looks as boring as it gets but let’s go with that.” With those words a sly grin appeared on his face, “Anyway, what you got on your mind?”

Jack grins and lightly pats raiden's back, hes got a jackpot here.

"unfortunately business is business.. but that doesn't mean there's nothing to around here when we're off hours."

He takes a few steps back an yawns. 

"To be honest I'm not supposed to get personally involved with my "workers" but you , vault hunter you're different. Hmm, but then again we'll have plently of time together now won't we? welcome to hyperion pumpkin"

he speaks in a teasing tone and his lips curl into a somewhat menacing smile

This side switch had quite a heavy toll on Raiden himself. But in the end, when he thought of it, it was profitable. For both of them. Maybe he’ll get used to this. Even so, he was still aware of the place he was, and the man he was supposedly to serve under.

The cyborg’s lip twitched as that nickname reached his ears. But he guessed that if he were to argue about that he’d get in trouble. Maybe later.

    “I guessed as much.” calmly he answered without facing Jack, “But I’d rather not sit around whole day.”

The older man smirks and get up off of his office chair and walks around his desk so hes facing the other.

"You’re an eager one huh? nice, we’ll get along just fine."

he chuckles lightly and crosses his arms across his chest

"At least you aren’t a time waster." jack coos in an slightly excited tone. He could get used to this, cyborgs are pretty fascinating to him they are nothing like the hundreds of loaders he has under his wing.

It was early in the morning and jack was still recovering from the lack of sleep he had. He constantly yawned as he looked at the cyborg. He was so pleased with himself... he got his hands on a vault hunter but not just any a freakin cyborg. He sighed heavily and spoke in his usual confident tone.

"So ,pumpkin, i've got no jobs for you yet so...."

the man’s eyes widened at the sudden sensation on his neck

"Woah! holy shit!" he grabbed the double’s shoulders with both hands with a strong grip, trying to push him back.
