The Daddy Dom is by far the gentlest and most nurturing of all the Dominants in D/s. A Daddy loves his Little with an undying passion and always has his Little’s best interest in mind, even if it conflicts with his own personal desires. Selflessness is a requirement of any Caregiver and a Daddy Dom must be ready to sacrifice for his Little whenever necessary. His duty is to serve his Little above all else. There can be no other way to be a Daddy Dom. He helps his Little set and reach goals in her life, not just in the lifestyle but in a way that’s personal to her development. He will help her improve herself to be the best she can be, not for him but for her. A Daddy’s not just looking to make her into a better submissive, but to support her individuality and help her grow to be a better person over all.
A Daddy Dom becomes many things in his Little’s life. A mentor. A teacher. A protector. A provider. A guide. A lover. He offers her what she needs most: His complete acceptance and unconditional love. He is consistent in his actions so that she knows what to expect from him and a well discussed and mutually agreed upon method of discipline is the only kind that a Daddy Dom should administer with his Little. A Daddy Dom wants nothing more than to pull his Little close and protect her from the cruelty of the world, but he knows he can’t always do that. So he takes it upon himself to prepare her for whatever life may bring and be there to comfort her when things go wrong.
A Daddy listens to all his Little’s fears and concerns knowing that no matter how silly or childish they seem, he will help her to confront each one with absolute love and support. He will hear all of his Little’s dreams, desires, and dirty little secrets and he praises her for being bold enough to open up and share herself completely. He kisses, holds, and showers his Little with the utmost affection as they share their darkest secrets together.
There’s nothing more satisfying to a Daddy than to see his Little girl succeed and watch as his lessons allow her to grow altruistically as a person. He revels in her daily accomplishments just as much as she does herself. When his Little is unsure of herself, a Daddy Dom fills her with genuine encouragement. When she feels ugly, he reminds her of all the wonderful things that make her so precious and beautiful. He’s her safety net when she feels scared. Her light in the dark when she feels lost. Her guide when she needs direction. Her rock when there’s no foundation. And she becomes his pride and joy. His main priority. His reason for being. His pride in her shows in the loving way he cares for her. He is her one and only. Her Daddy.
A Daddy Dom will want to spoil his Little girl. He’ll give her lots of attention, take her places, buy her things, and open up her life to new experiences. A good Daddy is never afraid to play with his Little girl. He will join in all of her favorite activities and provide her with a safe place to explore in her Little Space. A Daddy will also join his Little in exploring kinks and lifestyle choices. He learns what she likes and always respects her limits. He never dares to demand, coerce, or manipulate her submission for any act, sexual or non-sexual, because a true Daddy knows that her submission is the most precious gift he will ever receive.
And perhaps most importantly, a Daddy Dom has Love. Lots and lots of love to give. Daddies are sensitive and have an innate desire to be intimate with their Littles. They need just as much affection and tenderness as they give, and endless amounts are required. Daddy Doms are emotionally and physically close with their Littles. A Little becomes her Daddy’s primary vessel for his love. Without her, he has no one to pour his affections into and abuse from a Little can quickly make a Daddy feel lost, unwanted, and unneeded. All of which will make a Daddy dwindle as a person. A Daddy Dom needs closeness in order to feel needed and complete. Daddies are a rare a special thing and not to be taken for granted.
