Dinner With Daddy
âExcuse me?â
I hear it in the tone of your voice that Iâve absentmindedly done something that has gotten your attention and not in a good way. Your eyebrow is raised in such a way that isnât merely a warning, but the one that says Iâve really stepped into it. I immediately try to think of what I just said or did, but nothing comes to mind and I feel that deer in the headlights sensation as the color drains from my face.
âI must have heard that incorrectly.â
âUh,â I start to say, trying to backpedal, because I honestly donât remember what came out of my mouth while sitting at the dinner table. The restaurant is just loud enough that Iâm relying more on your visual cues which are screaming everything to me, youâre in big trouble little girl.
I slowly wipe my mouth and look down at my plate, Iâve eaten the required vegetables, most of the salad, and at least a bite of everything on the plate. Iâm unsure of what to say while Iâm looking at my feet. The waiter seems to come by at the perfect time as Iâm peering up at you and hear you clear your throat loudly enough that Iâm ready to hide under the tablecloth so no one can see me. Mainly I want to hide from your gaze that is making my stomach squick.
âWould you like a box for that miss?â
I hear you answer with a slight smile,
âSheâll eat it at home.â
I reach for the glass of wine and almost chug it down while I nod in agreement as the waiter walks off with the check in hand.
âCome sit next to me sweetheart.â
I nod, acknowledging that Iâve understood you and move toward you slowly, trying to remember what I just said or did.
âCan you tell what I might be thinking about right now?â
âNo,â I answer a little too quickly.
Your expression softens a little as I feel your hand on the small of my back, finding its place.
âNo Daddy,â I whisper.
âDo you think I missed that?â
âI donât know,â I answered honestly. âI really donât know.â
Youâre smiling, I see the mischief in your eyes as I begin to panic,
âWhat have I told you about rolling your eyes at me?â
âThat youâll purple my ass with the paddle.â
âAnd are you ever in charge?â
âNo Daddy,â I whisper. âYouâre in charge.â
âThatâs right baby,â your lips are so close to my ear that your beard is tickling, sending goosebumps down my body. Iâm sure we must appear cute like this to everyone else around us, but they have no idea how much Iâm quivering inside. âDaddy is in charge.â
The waiter comes back and Iâm smiling, pretending thereâs nothing going on at the table while you sign for the bill. You stand me up with just a nudge of your hand on the small of my back. Your arm is around me, caressing lightly on my shoulder while you pick up my sweater to put it on for me. Even when youâre disappointed, your manners are impeccable. You open the door outside and the car door too. You reach over and kiss my forehead sweetly while you make sure my seatbelt is on correctly. The whole time Iâm trembling, because Iâm anticipating the paddle on my ass when we get home, but Iâm more upset that I disappointed you.
âDo you feel bad baby?â
âYes Daddy. Sorry Daddy.â
I canât even look at you Iâm so upset that you cover my hand with yours, patting it to reassure me that it isnât the end of the world. I feel awful and try not to start biting my nails.
âDid you have a bad day sweetheart?â
I nod, afraid to speak, because Iâm trying not to start bawling like a little child, but the truth was, I had a bad day. Despite not wanting to do anything after working all day, I pulled myself together the wrong way. I knew I had blown it and there you were, making it better after calling me out on it.
âUh-huh,â I start to sob.
You donât say anything at first, your hand is still on top of mine, dwarfing it. I see you pulling off the highway onto one of the back roads that Iâm not familiar with. We sit in silence until I can no longer see signs of civilization. You turn the radio off and now all I can hear is the Jeep engine, road noise and my not so quiet sobs. You pull over as I start to undo the seat belt. There are no cars around, thereâs nothing for miles.
âBaby, put your head on my lap.â
I lay my head down, I try to stop sniffling, but it just feels worse this way.
âWhat happened?â
âHormones,â I blurt out. âIâm tired.â
You start to laugh,
âAh. I see. Do I need to put you down for a nap?â
Your hand brushes away the stray strands of hair from my face and you tuck them behind my ear. I sigh, trying to just calm myself.
âIâm such a damn spaz.â
âYou have to give yourself a break baby. Donât be so hard on yourself.â
âI didnât mean to roll my eyes at you.â
âI know.â
âAnd I hate that I disappointed you.â
âShhhh.â
âIâm sorry.â
âI believe you, but I think you should write lines tomorrow. I will not roll my eyes at Daddy.â
âOk.â
âYouâre going to go settle yourself in the corner when we get home.â
I nod, placing my hand on your knee and begin to fidget with the seam. You turn off the Jeep and I hold my breath, listening to crickets and frogs chirping. I slowly sit up, I can see your expression is curious as I reach down to your belt. I pull my pants off and slowly work my shirt up over my head. I need to do this for you as I pull my bra off and drop it to the floor.
I wait to see what youâll do because Iâve never done this before. I know Iâm not in charge and you know that I understand this as well. Your hand moves to my chin and I quietly sigh. You push my hand down and I touch you lightly at first until you pull me onto your lap. I slide up enough to straddle your lap and slowly lower myself onto your cock. Your head tilts back with a smile that slowly broadens. My hands are behind my back holding the steering wheel so that I can wiggle back and forth.
âThatâs a lovely tight wet little hole baby.â
âThank you Daddy.â
I know how to work you up like this and youâre smiling because you know what Iâm going to do and Iâll happily make a mess just to clean it up. You growl into my ear and Iâm feeling the slow build up of energy in and I tighten up to maintain the sensation. Your hands are on my breasts, fondling and pinching while I continue to grind my hips against you. You smack my ass and squeeze harder, pulling my hips down.
âThis is mine,â you tell me. âMine.â
I smile,
âIâm yours.â

That is some excellent erotica right there.

⥠Be kind, donât leave captions behind âĄ
When talking to submissive women about their lives and relationships, the most frequent cause of sorrow and difficulty that gets mentioned is the transition from a non-live-in D&S relationship to a full-time live-in situation. Relationships that seemed to work beautifully when limited to cyberspace hot-chat rooms, email, and the telephone suddenly become rocky and confused when two kinky individuals start to live together in a more intense and demanding sort of partnership. There are a number of reasons why this happens with such frequency. Cyberspace teaches you that dominating and submitting are easy and are almost always fun. All you need to do to be a very popular and admired cyber-dominant is to know what pat phrases to say at what times. Even I, a person without any dominant desires, could, by assuming a false on-line persona, easily have a huge stable of cyber-submissives swooning over me and vying for my attention, simply because I know the right words to say. Submissives who have only recently discovered or decided to pursue their sexuality are, as a rule, so sexually and emotionally needy for control, any kind of control, that they fall right over if you assume a stern, forceful demeanor in their cyber-presence and issue the sorts of orders that you read about in S&M pornography. Then, in public, if you repeat all the standard tenents accepted by the S&M Scene community as the highest wisdom (again, itâs very easy to learn what these areâyou know, inanities like âsafe, sane, and consensualâ and âthe best tops started out as bottomsââand then rattle them off like a parrot) youâll get a rep as a wise, respected and (cough cough) âlovingâ dominant, a paragon of the Scene. Itâs incredibly easy to dominate someone from a distance. Itâs so easy, in fact, that many men who are not genuinely dominant have discovered that if they put on this âact,â they can have as many no-strings-attached cyber-slaves as they like. The problem comes when such âdominantsâ begin, as they often do, to believe their own propaganda and start to consider themselves to be superdoms, even though theyâve never had any experience in controlling anyone in real life. Such a superdork, erâexcuse meâsuperdom, thinks that actually dominating someone in real life is identical to the virtually effortless fantasy play that he conducts on line or over the phone. So, considering himself to be eminently qualified, he orders some poor, lovestruck submissive to leave her home and to move in with him. And when both he and his gullible partner are forced to deal with the reality of dominance and submission, the disaster begins. Actually to dominate someone who lives with you requires much, much more from you than the ability to create a sexy fantasy on a computer screen or to assume a stern tone or to issue commands over the phone or in email to an always compliant and willing part-time submissive who spends the majority of her largely independent life without you. Very few people actually have what it takes to be successful dominants, and real dominants are actually quite rare, as many more people have the desire to dominate someone sadomasochistically than have the ability to do it well. To dominate someone full-time and in person requires a lot of very hard work on the dominantâs part; a successful dominant does this hard work because the rewards, for him, are worth it. It also requires information, even wisdom, about what both dominant and submissive must do to make this sort of relationship work that at present is unavailable in the fantasy-laden S&M Scene community and its written materials. As an example, to dominate a deep and needy submissive successfully (in other words, in a way that ensures that both of you are happy and fulfilled)âeven a highly motivated, sincere, and obedient submissiveârequires an ability to cope with numerous emotional freakouts, resistances, and confusions in oneâs submissive partner, especially during the first few live-in years of the relationship. Even the deepest submissive has tremendous difficultiesâat firstâwith learning to obey and to submit, because learning to be a good submissive is not a matter of personality or willpower (although these things help). Itâs not a matter of being âsubmissive enough.â Itâs entirely a matter of training and experience. The most willing and compliant submissive isnât born knowing instinctively how to serve or how to put her masterâs needs first. In fact, sheâs taught from childhood to be independent and willful. Overcoming a lifetime of cultural conditioning takes lots of time; and nothing in the easy fantasy play that people do on line or over the telephone prepares them for the difficulties of actual, real-life daily obedience. The only way a submissive learns to be a good submissive is through extensive practice, through making mistakes and learning from them, through talking over what goes wrong with a knowledgeable and patient dominant, and through extensive and informed assistance from her dominant partner. The early âhellâ years of a live-in D&S relationship require, in every case that I have seen, extensive patience and emotional self-control from a dominant. Such patience and emotional self-control are signs of maturity, of an adult whoâs actually âgrown upâ and who is truly capable of taking responsibility for someone elseâs life. When your submissive is screaming and raging at you for âforcingâ her to get up early and make your morning coffee, calling you hurtful, inconsiderate, abusive, itâs awfully hard if youâve had no actual successful experience as a dominant, or if you are emotionally immature, not to be affected by this, even hurt by it, and not to lash back at her. But âgetting backâ at a resistant or upset submissive whoâs wounded you by your withdrawing from her physically or emotionally or through angry punishment or emotional rages of your own will simply ensure that your relationship quickly becomes conventional in terms of power. Your submissive learns that you canât control yourself, that you have no clue about how to deal with her passive-aggressive or manipulative attempts at resisting you, or that you are a coward who runs away from confrontation. In other words, she learns that, instead of being the great and wonderful dominant that you appeared to be on line, youâre really just an angry, scared, or wounded little child who is no more emotionally mature than she. As will become evident to anyone who attempts a live-in power-exchange relationship for a significant length of time, D&S is, at times, hard, gruelingly hard work and requires a rare individual as a dominant: someone whose ability and actions actually match the claims he makes for him- or herself, and someone who considers the hard work worth it because of the things he gets out of the relationship. There are some minimum attributes which any dominant needs in order to make a real power-exchange relationship work. These are qualities which every submissive person must look for in the dominant when they meet. Many self-proclaimed dominants say that they have these extraordinary qualities; just the claim alone means nothing. The dominant must be able to demonstrate, to show you, that he actually has these attributes. Learning whether your dominant meets these basic requirements takes time: submissives who rush into absolute or even partial live-in power-exchange relationships without taking the time to determine the quality of the person they are agreeing to submit to often pay dearly for it later. Below are descriptions of some of the minimum qualifications which a dominant who hopes to be successful in a power-exchange relationship must have. It is not meant to be complete, just to provide you with some of the more important qualities to look for in a potential dominant partner: Self-Control If you canât control yourselfâyour vices, your emotions, your tendency to act outâyou cannot control another person. You are too weak and self-indulgent to control another. As mentioned above, all submissives, even the best, resist control at times. Dealing with that resistance in a way that encourages good behavior in the submissive and helps to train her to be a better submissive and a happier person means realizing from the start that your submissiveâs actions, however you may dislike them, are not about you. They are, rather, about her problems with submitting. Learning not to respond narcissisticallyâi.e., with anger, personal affront, hurt, or defensivenessâwhen she behaves in a resisting or manipulative way, is part of self-control. Instead of overreacting, a self-controlled dominant will rationally and over time devise workable strategies based on his intimate knowledge of his submissive that discourage the behavior and attitudes he dislikes. Stubborness and Emotional Resilience People who only imagine that they are dominants and who are suddenly thrust into the position of having to control a real human being face-to-face, often ask a very revealing question: when faced with the initial difficulties of training a submissive and overcoming the onslaught of her confusion or resistance, a situation which requires so much self-control and maturity on their part, they often wonder what it is that the dominant gets out of the relationship besides hard work and grief. An actual dominant never wonders this in any serious sense. He knows what he wants to get out of a power-exchange relationship, and he makes sure, despite the difficulties, that he gets it. A dominants must actually be dominantâmust actually have a strong enough will to get his needs met, to insist that he get what he wants out of the relationship. In addition, to someone who is genuinely dominant, overcoming the submissiveâs resistance in a way that enhances the relationship for both of them is something that, despite his dislike of the actual resistance, he relishes, as in the long run it enhances his control. Responsibility Owning someone for life is a very serious endeavor. When you control another person and can do anything to her that you want to, you have a great responsibility toward her. Some people shallowly liken a dominantâs responsibility to that of owning a pet, but itâs much more of a duty than that. In terms of the seriousness with which the dominant must take his charge, itâs more like having a child. You control this person absolutely, and, assuming that your love your slave, you must make sure that the things that you doâor donât doâare not harmful or damaging to your charge. You have to think first, and carefully, before you speak out in anger. You have to consider how each action you take or decision you make affects your submissive as well as yourself. You have to anticipate how your sub will react to certain things before you commit to them. Youâre steering the ship. Youâre the only one in charge. If you truly realize that, then you also know that when things screw up and donât work out, it is not the fault of the person who is helpless before you and who must follow your orders; it is your responsibility, and yours alone. Maturity A dominant has to be grown up enough to take the responsibility when things go wrong. A child in an adultâs body, on the other hand, blames every bad thing or misfortune that befalls him on others. Nothing is ever his responsibility. Itâs always someone else who has screwed up. A mature person also has patience and a willingness to wait a long time, if necessary, for things to work out. Some things in power-exchange take a very long time to achieve, and a dominant, especially, has to have the determination and fortitude to wait for these things without giving up or losing heart. A mature person is able to keep perspective: he doesnât see every little blow up or emotional difficulty from his submissive as a sign that the relationship isnât working or as some symptom of the fact that his submissive doesnât love him. A mature dominant also knows how to walk the very fine line between not letting his submissive partnerâs emotional difficulties rule him on the one hand and becoming emotionally distant from the submissive on the other. A mature person tends to have a calm, even personality that isnât rocked by every little incident that life throws at him. A mature dominant can be looked up to by his submissive partner, leaned on, seen as a pillar of strength and supportâat all times, not just when he finds it fun or easy to play that role. A mature dominant has a good understanding of human nature from having encountered its many forms and knows, in general, what works and what doesnât work when dealing with a submissive. He doesnât have to learn all of this by experimenting on you. Trustworthiness This may be the most important quality that a dominant must have. Someone who is completely dependent upon another person and who exists only to please that person has to know that her dominant is reliable and consistentâand especially that he is capable of keeping his word. A dominant isnât trustworthy just because he says he is. Heâs trustworthy when he proves to you, with consistent actions over a long period of time, that he does what he says he is going to do and when he says he will do it, that he tells you the truth and doesnât deceive you, that you can come to him with your problems, whatever those problems may be, and rely on him to lend a sympathetic, loving ear and not to reject you just because those problems make him feel insecure, confused, or upset. Experience and Knowledge It helps immensely if a dominant knows what he is doingâknows which activities are safe and which put a submissive in danger physically or psychologically, understands how to get to know his submissiveâto delve deeply into her personality so that he can better control her, knows how to keep her serving him happily and enthusiastically, and knows how actually to control someone. Most people who want to be dominants donât have the slightest idea of how to do the any of this. They may have had a little success at doing fantasy scenes on the computer, and they think this childish play, which anyoneâeven a submissive like myselfâcould learn to do convincingly with a couple of dayâs practice makes them experienced and worldly dominants. Or they may learn from the terrible S&M advice and ettiquite books on the market that there are âtraining methodsâ or formulae that work universally with all submissives (nothing is further from the truth). Or they may have gone to a couple of play parties, seen the performances put on by individuals who are only slightly less ignornant than themselves (although these playes will usually do everything within their power to convince you they are S&M experts) and concluded that really controlling someone closely resembles these staged and artificial scenes done mostly to impress an audience with how skilled or cool you are. Learning how to control someone, how to overcome her resistances (every submissive who experiences real, permanent dominance resists), how to handle each new situation that comes up takes a great deal of knowledge or experience, and thereâs an art to it as well. Itâs complex, as each individual situation requires a different, noncanned or stereotyped response. Most people in the Scene, most people who call themselves dominants and promote themselves as wise S&M gurus, know nothing about any of this. Theyâre fumbling around in the dark. A dominant either learns this kind of thing from many, many years in the school of hard knocks or from learning from another dominant who already has this knowledge. Desire Itâs a sad fact that many people who call themselves dominants these days have absolutely no idea of what to do with a submissive once they are alone in the same room with one. As long as they can bluster and preen and pretend on line or at a distance or for a short period of time they do fine. But once they actually have a real person to deal with 24 hours a day, they quickly run out of ideas. Most of these people have none of the essential qualities described above, and they donât really want any of the difficulties or hassles that controlling someone always involves. They want to be dominant entirely for the ego boost, or because they believe that itâs an easy way to get girls to do what you want them to, or because it all sounds so much funner and easier than a conventional relationship. They are not control freaks. They are not truly dominant. If they were, theyâd accept the hassles and difficulties involved with control, as theyâd relish that control so much that they would be willing to deal with any problems it brings. Most self-styled dominants, however, do not really want to control anotherâs life, they do not want to own a slave (although they often believe that they do until they find one), and when confronted with the realities of ownership, they run away, abandoning their responsibilities. The most common form of running away, of abdicating the dominantâs responsibility, is to blame all the relationship problems on the submissive, pretending that she is ultimately the responsible one.Â

When Itâs Hard
Several months ago, I felt like I was drowning. I was on a steep learning curve at a new job where I felt completely lost, and I was rebuilding my personal life on several levels. Every little decision felt heavy. But I kept trudging through, hoping one day the struggle would end.Â
In the midst of this, my Dominant gave me a daily task. It felt nearly impossible some days. Iâd get my daughter in bed and think about the task. Iâd watch the minutes tick away before bedtime and try to summon up the energy to complete it. Once I completed it, I felt better. Proud. Accomplished. Connected to him. But before doing it, all I could feel was the exhaustion.Â
One night I asked permission to skip the task. My boss had completely scrapped my work productâa new experience for this perfectionist overachiever who was used to things coming easily. Suddenly, I felt incompetent. Then my daughter, sensing my stress, argued with me all night. It was all I could do to get her in bed before I collapsed in tears.Â
So I asked permission to skip the task. And he said no. I was furious. I told him if he loved me, he wouldnât make me follow through. He calmly told me that he wanted me to follow through because he loved me. I called him selfish and insensitive. I refused to do it. He reminded me that I always have a choice: complete the task or accept punishment.
I sat for about 20 minutes, just staring at the wall. I felt empty. I reached inside and felt nothing. No energy, no worth. Just nothing. And then I got up, and I completed my task. I didnât do it to avoid the belt; when I initially refused, I knew Iâd take the belt for it. But the idea of intentionally disobeying himâŚthat was too much to bear. I couldnât. So I took my nothingness and made it something. I made it into service.
A few days later when the clouds had cleared, we talked about it. âYou know I couldnât let you off the hook,â he said. âYou know it would have been the worst thing for you. It would have left you feeling alone and untethered.â He was right. There were other times when he did give me permission to skip the task, but that night it would have made everything worse. I was so grateful that he held the leash tight in that moment. He reached out to me in my darkness, and he didnât let go. And neither did I.Â
I thanked him for the opportunity to submit. Then he said four words that made my heart swell. âI knew you would.â
Itâs easy to submit when you have all the time and energy to devote yourself to it. But itâs much harder to submit when everything is going wrong. Dominance and submission arenât just for when itâs easy. Many people are capable of putting on the role for short bursts. Months, even. But the moment it gets hard, they toss it aside. And they wait for a more convenient time to pick it back up again. Itâs not about whether you can play the role; itâs about whether you are the role. Anything less is just D/s dress-up.Â
A deep D/s connection is about where you find your sanctuary. Itâs about what feeds your soul. Itâs about what replenishes you when you are stressed or sad or lost or returning home from battle to lick your wounds. If you can only give or take control when itâs easy, then itâs never going to be real or sustainable. You canât build a relationship on that. But if you ache for D/s all the way down to your bones, then you show up no matter what. You follow through when itâs hard. You meet your partnerâs needs, and in doing so, you meet your own. The dynamic can be so powerful that way. Especially when itâs hard.Â
All of this ^^^. Essence of D/s, real D/s, in a nutshell: â Dominance and submission arenât just for when itâs easy.â
Can you explain what inspection is?
Inspection is the objective analysis and appreciation of a submissiveâs body by their Dominant, most often performed in the lead up to playtime. It usually incorporates the copious use of hands by the Dominant, and silence and stillness on the part of the submissive.
JD
You know Mr JD @onelittlekingdom I think that is just the best explanation of Inspection I have ever heard. Also the shortest. Respect.
How a Submissive Leads
A good submissive is often a wonderful leader. It may seem paradoxical. After all, arenât submissives supposed to follow? The caricature of submissives is a little mouse, quiet except for âyes, Sirâ and âthank you, Sir.â But submissives lead in a great many ways.
Submissives lead by example. They lead by showing up every day and honoring their commitment to the dynamic. They lead by showing their Dominant that obedience and service are for always, not just when itâs easy. It takes a lot of strength to kneel when you are tired, when you are emotionally struggling, when your confidence is shaken. It is easier to withdraw or to take back control, rather than trusting someone else with it. When submissives choose their submission over and over again, this shows faith in a vision for what the dynamic should be. It shows courage and resolve. And with this leadership, submissives inspire leadership in their Dominants with their unrelenting need to follow.
Submissives lead by providing their Dominants opportunities to lead. Sometimes submissives sense that their Dominants need a reminder that they hold the leash. When they are stressed or feeling unsure, sometimes they need to feel their partnersâ submission. That connection sustains both sides of the slash. Submissives lead by recognizing when their Dominant needs to connect through power exchange and offering an opportunity to lead. They ask permission. They ask their Dominant to choose for them. They kneel with their Dominantâs favorite implement in hand. But it is up to the submissive sometimes to see the need and act on it.
Submissives lead by helping their Dominants understand their needs. This is not topping from the bottom; it is giving Dominants all the information they need to care for their property. Imagine the Dominant is blindfolded, walking a path with their submissive. The Dominant knows where they want to go. They know if they head directly west, they will reach the most perfect little town. But the submissive can see that heading directly west will send them through swamps and rocky terrain. The submissive leads by being the Dominantâs eyesâexplaining the obstacles and allowing the Dominant to find a different course that will reach the destination. This is not the same as telling the Dominant where to go, just as sharing your needs is not topping from the bottom.Â
Once in a D/s relationship, I was struggling with a lack of spankings. I tried telling him I needed a spanking. Heâd nod, and then the next time, heâd throw me down and treat me roughly. He made sure I felt owned. But I still needed a spanking. Finally, I laid it out for him. âWhen I say I need a spanking, I donât mean I need kink. I donât mean that weâve gone too vanilla. I donât mean that I need you to hurt me. I mean that I need a spanking, and nothing else will do.â This felt decidedly unsubmissive to me. But through his response, I realized that this kind of guidance was the most submissive thing I could do. I showed him how to lead us. Without my leadership, he could not lead.Â
Submissives lead by serving as a beacon of light. As a submissive, I light the path, and my Dominant leads us down it. I do not decide. But I may shine a light on a decision to be made, so my Dominant can decide. Without a submissiveâs leadership, their Dominant is just wandering in the dark. Itâs not just that submissives do lead; itâs that they must lead at times for the dynamic to be successful.
âIf my Master is lost, Iâll find him. Iâll lead him back to himself, because to serve doesnât always mean to follow.â âJoey W. Hill
Incredibly well said đ. Mind you, I donât agree with everything because some of it honestly sounds like a submissive is Topping from the bottom and thatâs not the point. A Dominant has to learn himself while the submissive continues to devote their submission to their Dom. Thereâs communicate, which is a key factor, for the D/s dynamic to help the Dom, but do not Top from the bottom.
Also, there are Dominant roundtables, so Doms can share and learn from their experiences from each other, give advice, suggestions, etc. As I stated, incredibly well said.
I donât see this as âtopping from the bottomâ at all. I see it as the submissive inspiring their Dom to be the best that they can be, just the same as the Dom inspires the sub to be the best they can be. Both partners should always be focused on inspiring their partnerâs full growth and flourishing!
A Dear Future Dominant Letter⌠by elegant-submissive-nj (sadly deactivated)
âDear Future Dominant,
Submissive women think and feel differently. We feel everything. We want everything. The ugly parts of you we want as well. Submission is a great gift that will be bestowed upon you but such a loving soulful submissive. You can not pick and choose what parts are worthy to share with her. Please learn her. Learn who she is first. Place the hands you own on her face as you take her hand on a powerful path. Understand the why of how she holds walls so high. Take each brick and throw them to the ground. Break down and be raw. Dominantâs should be vulnerable too. Understand nurturing. Love yourself before you love her. Make yourself a priority. Allow the submissive to hold you high and help you become the best man you can be. Never stop learning and knowledge is power. Make sure you are transparent in expectations. Laugh. Laugh a ton. Kiss her forehead and smile. Please make mistakes and work from them together.Take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Place yourself first so you can become the best man you can be. It is at that point, you can take care of a submissive 100% Give yourself to her. Feel her presence as she kneels before you. One of my followers from my old blog which is now a current followerâand real life friend alerted this post you made. I am perplexed to say the least.
You did not get this and post it as a reblog from someone else ( a reblog) instead it was a copy and paste to be posted by you with my now deleted old blog. This letter and the words written here are from years ago. I am quite confused on to the all of a sudden ( from what I can gather) posting something that is from a null and void blog?
I am trying to understand why someone would keep a postâmy wordsâonly to repost it with not a reblog attached?
This letter was written by ME as a plea to honorable men in general. It was also written at a time in my life where I had just informed an ex- Dominant that I had hired a private investigator to find out FOR ME that indeedâ I wasnât losing my â mindâ and that yesâ he was involved with other women and worseâ driving while intoxicated thankfully not injuring anyone. I ended it that evening. I returned to my residence later and that is when I wrote the above words.
May I ask if this letter/ post I made years ago was saved by you for some reason?
Thank you in advance.

I only wanted your beautiful words and not all the other comments. I wanted them to stand alone. I had no idea you had a new blog. I had to see this on another blog. I am blocked from your new blog.
I was as honest as I know how to be by giving you credit in bold font, upfront and I used quotations.
The all of a sudden was I remembered it after reading a spate of newish unowned and wounded subs. So, I hunted it down, saw you were deactivated, and did my best to handle it with integrity.
Clearly, I am just obtuse in the culture of Tumblr.
Please accept my apologies. If you want me to delete it, I will.

7 Fundamental Characteristics of A Daddy Dom
7 Fundamental Characteristics of A Daddy Dom
Just what is a Daddy Dom? Well, to start with, a Daddy Dom is first and foremost a Dom. He chooses the subcategory of âDaddyâ within the lifestyle of dominance and submission (D/s). Letâs get one thing out of the way right at the beginning. A Daddy Dom does not promote incest or pedophilia as the kink may be misunderstood by ignorant people. Rather, in this specific subcategory, the dynamic is set up for the male dominant to be called âDaddyâ, and the female submissive (sub) to be called âgirlâ, âlittle girlâ, or âbabygirlâ, etc. Rarely is she called âdaughterâ, as this evokes too many parallels to incest, which Daddies and their girls detest. And while some doms and some subs may have been victims of family violence, incest, or other abuse, Daddy Doms and their girls are not overrepresented in these categories any more than the general population.
The following are some of the fundamental characteristics, and indeed needs, that all Daddy dominants seem to share universally:
Her Number One Fan, the Daddy usually believes in his girl more than she herself does, and often uses the wisdom of his age to see her not only for who she is, but also for who she can become. A Daddyâs eyes light up when his girl enters the room. He is proud of her and praises her for not just for what she accomplishes, but for what she attempts, and for who she is. He accepts her for who she is, flaws and all. And he knows all her flaws because he is also her
ultimate Confidant, allowing her to bare her soul to him beyond all others. She may have many different relationships and types of friends in her life. But Daddy will be her âumbrella confidantâ. The one with whom she can talk about absolutely anything and trust that what she tells Daddy stays with Daddy. He is the one from whom she withholds nothing. The one who doesnât mind if she needs to call and talk at 3am.
He is the Protector of his girl against real or perceived threats, dangers, and bad people. Sometimes a little girl just needs to curl up in Daddyâs arms and smile at some of his bluster, and sometimes the Daddy may have to act on his protective instincts. Pity the person who messes with a Daddyâs girl.
Her Teacher and mentor shows her new things that come from a longer and possibly wider set of life experiences. Daddy likes to take his girl to places she has never been, feed her foods she has never eaten, and do activities she has never enjoyed before. He is never so happy as when he can look in her eyes and know he has given her something she has never had before. This also translates into sexual adventurism for some Daddy/girl couples. He symbolically deflowers her on a regular basis, whether that be sexual or just in exposure to new life adventures.
He wants to be her Guide and advisor. As the girl makes her way in the world, Daddy wants to be there to answer her questions, calm her fears, make her insecurities go away, and give her sound advice based on his years of experience.
Anchor. The Daddy dom is an unyielding, unmovable anchor in the storm. No matter what happens in the girlâs life, she knows her Daddy will be right there where he has always been, and she can hold onto that even if she is blinded by her own tears. Daddies know the storm will pass, and she will be safe, but she needs something to hold onto that will not move.
Disciplinarian. When the girl acts badly, she expects to be disciplined or punished for the infraction. Most Daddy dominants find it occasionally difficult to keep this up, especially as the affection for their girl grows. They would love nothing more than to spoil their girls, but they realize this is the path to ruin. One a girl begins to believe she can manipulate Daddy, she no longer sees him as her dominant, unyielding anchor. A girl needs the stability and protection of a man who is more dominant than she is. To demonstrate that characteristic, Daddies must sometimes be excessively strict and rigid, more so than they would in normal relationships. The act of disciplining the girl may be used as part of a sadomasochistic activity.
In addition to these practically mandatory characteristics, some couples add their own sadism and masochism to the mix, and may use the concept of the wolf or lion and little lamb to describe the way in which the Daddy simultaneously protects his little girl from the world, and yet wants to dominate and devour her sexually. As a sadist, he may create the very tears that he will later kiss away. Sounds sweet, and yet terrifying, if you are not accustomed to the world of sadomasochism in which these participants operate. But to a Daddy and his girl who are into BDSM, this is the most perfect of scenarios they can imagine to act out their fetish.
Daddies come in many flavors, just as their girls do. Some Daddies may have polyamorous girls who have male and female lovers, and Daddy may be that one person outside the polyamory âfamilyâ who does not judge her. A Daddy and his girl might not have a sexual relationship at all. Since this is typically a D/s construct, there is usually a sexual component, but as can be seen from the above list of characteristics, sex is not the largest factor or the motivating force in this type of relationship. A Daddy may have more than one girl, may be married and have a girl, too, or may have other types of combinations. But it is rare for a girl to have more than one Daddy.
It is said that âa Top is for tonight, a Dominant is for as long as she is submissive, a Master is there until she is no longer a slave, but a Daddy is foreverâ. Daddy may have to give his girl away to a husband. He may eventually run out of things to teach his little girl. She may ultimately not need his sage advice and his experience any more. Hopefully he will be too old by then to have to deal with it, because when there is nothing left to teach, no need for a confidant, no discipline needing to be meted out, when his little girl no longer needs her Daddy, thatâs when he will die inside. The need that Daddy has for his girl is every bit as potent as the need she has for her Daddy.
A Daddy usually knows he is one. He doesnât have to be convinced of it, or taught how to be a Daddy. He may only need to have his innate Daddy characteristics pointed out to him. It might happen in the throes of a sexual activity when she exclaims âDaddyâ for the first time, and the light goes on. Similarly, the little girl usually knows she needs a Daddy without having to be taught how to be his little girl. Once they identify themselves as Daddy / Little Girl, the draw is more powerful than many other forms of attraction, because it is rooted in deep-seated and old emotions that may not have any other outlet.
Girls in this lifestyle do not act like little girls in their normal work lives. They do not bring teddy bears to work. Indeed many are older women who are very assertive and successful in the business world, but need this special place to get nurturing and comfort lacking in their careers. A Daddy might not necessarily act parental or fatherly in his normal work life either. For some it may be role playing, for some it is a secret lifestyle, and other couples delight in the joys of unabashedly practicing the Daddy/girl dynamic in public. In any case, it evokes deep-seated needs and emotions for both parties, and is a very powerful dynamic.
While some of these characteristics could easily be applied to any good male-female relationship, there are some that require something quite different than the â50/50 partnershipâ that is so often touted as the most healthy. This is not 50/50. This is a Dominant/submissive relationship, and all the characteristics should be viewed through the lens of D/s.
And while many of the characteristics could also be easily applied to any good D/s or Master/slave relationship, there are some characteristics that are decided different. Not all Masters consider themselves their slaveâs number one fan or her umbrella confidant. Teacher, guide, and anchor are not necessarily roles that a Master is required to adopt.
This is nowhere near a complete treatise on Daddy/girl relationships. It does not address the possibility that parent-child ego states (Transactional Analysis) are the preferred communication mode. It does not address the âplay spaceâ created by the Daddy for the girl to enjoy feeling âlittleâ, or many other aspects that make D/g different from other D/s, M/s and similar dynamics. But this description of Daddy Dom characteristics will hopefully be useful as a baseline explanation of what makes a Daddy tick.
