genuinely when you log off and are only exposed to the lives of those around you as god intended you realize how much shit does not matter. i know this is not a hot take but we were not meant to hear every thought, feeling and opinion of people we will never see face to face. itās so much easier to pile on people for harmless but annoying opinions when you will never have to spend extended time with them.
the fact that people change their entire wardrobes each year is batshit completely insane to me as someone who grew up too poor for clothes. when we went clothes shopping the general idea was "you will be wearing this for the next 5 years so choose wisely"

This really started over a year ago, with a project started in the Renegade Bindery server: people would format different chapters of My Immortal, without knowing what anyone else was doing, and we would put them together into one file. It was agreed upon that everybody would disregard both good design and good taste.Ā

After raiding a Joannās of materials I thought belonged in Hot Topic circa 2005 (before it just became Think Geek II: We Donāt Light Our Store,) I almost immediately tested positive for covid.
