As civilians, we often overlook the significance of our freedom. We tend to forget that many lives were sacrificed to celebrate this day of independence. Although our nation is imperfect, I wouldn't choose any other place to live, given its liberties and freedom. These include freedom of religion, allowing us to worship whoever we choose, the freedom to marry who we love, the freedom from living in a segregated environment, the freedom to vote for the party that aligns with our beliefs, and the freedom of education, empowering our minds through studying the country's past to shape its future.

May everyone's day be filled with laughter with loved ones, good food, and continuation of celebratory traditions. God bless America, and all its inhabitants.

Why have I been obsessed with this song since I heard it last summer! First time I heard it was at @dontjump-221b wedding. Woke up listening to this, and it has put me in such good spirits. I want to look more into her discography. I watched the music video for the first time today, and I’m obsessed it’s given me a pinch of inspiration for my own art.

A Ode To Zelda Spellmen

If you've been following my blog for a while you would know I love Sabrina The Teenage Witch. It's probably one of my favorite tv shows.

I'm grateful I got to experience the show in real time. Being a 90s baby. I remember when the show aired. It's my comfort show to say the least. Watching it this time go around I've noticed how much I admire Aunt Zelda. I've said it before about a year ago that I've realized that in your younger years you probably aspire to be more like Aunt Hilda. However as you mature you realize that it is best to aspire to develop characteristics that of Aunt Zelda.

She's goal oriented, sophisticated, passionate about her studies, and work. Highly intelligent, and dependable when she is needed. The thing One of the traits that I love most about Aunt Zelda is that she is always going to strive to do what is right. No matter what the crowd is doing. She sees the missed opportunities for an educational moment when taking a short cut.

A second thing to admire about her is that she seeks validation in all of the right things. As humans it's natural to seek validation. However at times we seek validation so much, that we forget that not all validation is of value, and is what we need.

Aunt Zelda finds validation in her studies, her work as a scientist. Which is something I value more than anything. I'm the most passionate about my career, and the education I feed myself. As I've grown older I've realized that I'd rather do things out of peace rather than popularity.

She's been great mentor for not only Sabrina, but for me as well.

One of the various things I’ve been up to this year. My favorite adventure so far this year. It was life changing ever since this weekend I haven’t been the same in the best way.

Day/night two! Sometimes all you need is a weekend, of bourbon, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, , Blackberry Smoke. As well as that person who is always ready for a weekend road trip. It’s not about the quantity of the company you keep, but the quality. ❤️‍🔥🎶🎵🎸🥃🪶

Very handsome yet charismatic! He seems to be a simple guy nextdoor.

I just watched the interview where he made an appearance on the Theo Von podcast.

He talked about something that caught my attention. About being present more in our bodies more than our heads. Being more aware of what’s going on with them.

That really struck something within me. Especially as I am about to embark on a more intense physical journey as far as my workouts go.

Also I believe that it will keep me grounded on a mental level, as well as an emotional level.
