Here’s KINKY’S Recipe for “ULIQUILES”
This week’s podcast guest is Ulises and Carlos from the band KINKY. We talk to them about growing up in Monterrey, L.A. Mexican food, and their favorite places to eat on tour. Then, towards the end, Ulises gave us a recipe for his own special blend of chilaquiles. Here it is:
Ingredients:
4 or 5 Corn Tortillas
White onion, diced
2-3 Eggs
Green salsa
Cilantro, chopped
Queso Panela
Instructions:
Chop the corn tortillas up into 1” strips. Heat a small amount of oil in the pan, and toss in the corn tortillas. Move them around until they get crispy. Once they start to brown a little, toss in the chopped onion. Once the onion is browned, crack the eggs directly into the pan and mix them around with the onions and tortillas. Once the eggs are cooked, remove everything to a plate. Add the green salsa to the same pan along with the cilantro and cook for 2-3 minutes, scraping up all the bits that are leftover in the pan. Add to the top of the egg mixture on the plate, and garnish with cheese.

My favorite place!!!!
Reblog if you believe school can cause stress.
My dad doesn’t think so, and I’m having a hard time explaining to him why school is stressful, so once this reaches a decent amount of notes I’ll show him how many people agree with me.
