I could tell by the way she hugged me, that she was relieved to not see me with the baby anymore, as if she had thought: “Mummy…I’m so glad I have you to myself again.” …Taking a deep breath with her in my arms, I started to let go of all the negative thoughts, reminded myself that someone’s mood who’s as little as my daughter, can change within seconds and that it’s totally normal for her to be shocked when being confronted with such a new situation. Seeing everyone of the family being so over the moon for us, all the smiles, all the happiness; the shine and happy tears, particularly in Ashers eyes, filled my heart with such an incredible feeling of pure happiness. It was this pure feeling what probably made me take Lemmys second little tantrum differently than the first one which left me in so much fear out of being shocked. Every time someone in the family came near Lemmy with the baby, she immediately started crying again and refused to get out of the armchair on the other side of the room. I felt sorry for her, but as she ran over to me to snuggle up once more, I took the chance and gave it a try again…to then experience our highlight of the day. Did I mention already that Ethel already has a nickname too? ♥

There's nothing quite like the relationship between two sisters. I still miss my sister every day. Lemmy is such a lucky little girl!

[June 29th 2019, 3pm] I was looking forward to this moment all day since even if it’s not been a long time that we’ve been apart from Lemmy, I really missed her. We could already hear her cute little jabber as she walked down the hall with my parents and I could feel my excitement grow with every step they came closer. Knowing my daughter, I expected the door to open and have her sit on my lap the next second. She’s always so jolly when being reunited with us that every time I started worrying about a different reaction, Ash stayed cool and told me not to worry too much. If only he was right though…

We walked around until our feet were literally bleeding! Yet, I feel like we didn't see enough of Rome 😂 Then it was time for our last stop...
