Hi, I’m Kiran.

I write poetry when my thoughts get too loud to stay inside my head. Some days it’s soft, some days it’s messy, some days it barely makes sense. I still write it.

I’m learning proofreading because I like paying attention to small details. I've read enough fanfictions to know the flow of a storyline.

I am new to this platform and hope to get better connections here, so I can build my experience and confidence along the way.

P.S. I have a great love for reading Romance Novels, fiction and fanfiction.

FIND ME AGAIN

I'm not afraid of the consequences. But, I'm afraid of losing you. What will I do without you? Where would I go? Who knows what tomorrow wants from me.

You want us to live together forever. Have you not heard about destiny?

I know you'll look for me. Find me in the cold breeze of my whispered thoughts, or in the glowing galaxies of our shared moments.

I'll not give up until you do. I'll die every day, wait for you, every breath calling your name. Until the day you find me again.

A Winter Tree

There is a tree outside my window,

Tall it stands through all seasons,

Once, I saw its last leaf fall off,

A little sad if you think of it enough.

I saw it when it was all green and red,

I saw flowers bloom in their threads,

I saw little birds nesting on its branches,

I saw a warm welcome to whoever chances.

Now, it shies away under a blanket of foggy ice,

Its silhouette is written throughout the long night,

The sunshine tries to reach it with all its gold,

It looks like an ancient tale, a little bird unfolds.

A Letter I'll Never Send

My wish to be loved with the same intensity and yearning,

The wish to be cherished with all there is to give,

To be celebrated and to be a part of your daily life,

How do I know such love exists?

Because it's the way I always feel.

It's the love and yearning I feel for you all the time, my love.

Is it childish for you? I may never know!

I'm afraid of your judgment of my ways of loving.

I'm not ready for the heartbreak it may carry with its harsh reality.

For now, it's enough that I have my love with me.

It's an old piece of my writing. I just wanted to put it here, as of lately I've been missing him way more. I know poetry connects with my heartstrings, but it's also making me envious of a time I know will never come back.

I still remember you being all soft when we met for the first time,

It's like yesterday I was sitting beside you a little shy,

You held my hand and the world stood still for a lifetime,

We laughed at the things we thought would make us cry,

Your wish to capture every moment until it's time to say goodbye,

"Don't leave me?", I cried on your shoulder that cruel twilight,

Your kiss on my forehead and the promise kept me alive,

I still remember you being all soft when we met for the first time.

Regret feels like a shadow looming around,

All the time haunting with its claws,

Dare I breathe, threatens me to the core,

Full of lies, my life torn apart like a fort of cardboard.

Title: Faded

Every longing poem is for you,

Every blues is about you.

But our strings aren't attached,

Neither our galaxies are intact.

You faded gently,

Like the sun slowly setting.

I wonder if you remember,

The words in my confession letter.

The way i said i like you,

The way my smile was only meant for you.

But now that changed,

I'll let you go.

You were never mine,

I never even held you close.

Our worlds collided,

Only a second.

It wasn't compatible,

So it seperated.

I cried your name,

Buried you in me.

Steal glances,

when i thought you weren't looking.

But now i know,

I should let you go.

This feeling has been here way too long,

I don't want myself to be stuck in a hole.

Knowing you were never mine,

Body and soul.

My heart is still yours,

But soon it will fade.

I'm not sure when,

But it's guaranteed.

I'm letting you go,

I will no longer sorrow.

I'll let you fade,

Like a memory burned in flames.

But i'll keep our picture safe,

Cause it will symbolize the day i decided to let you fade.

I knew i was inlove,

When you occupied my thoughts.

When i couldn't sleep,

When reality finally felt like a dream.

But that's all in the past,

You brought more tears than joy.

The desperate longing i had,

I'm letting it go at last.

Your face will blur,

Like an image censored.

Your name will be unrecognizable,

Cause i'll forget the letters.

You'll fade like time,

Soon you'll just be picture.

You'll no longer be my muse,

This is the last poem of you.

Heartbreak through every walking step,

How long will I carry this ache?

They told me to step back and be still,

How do I tell them it will kill me from within?

I want to scream at my mind to cry,

When tears well up I want to hide them away forever.

It's a cold day

Giving me chills

Feelings are numb

My bones shattering

Breathing frozen

Save me from myself

Hug me warm

Kiss me like the Summer

Have a moment still

Let me burn in this heat

Is it possible to feel the moment someone drifts away from your life?

You can tell it's not the same anymore but you still try to make it work.

Then you are left with yourself and your cruel thoughts,

Looking back and figuring out where you went wrong.

Making decisions based on recent conversations.

Mind is trying to mess it up and escape altogether.

Not having enough courage to ask what changed.

Accepting this cold behaviour is crushing my brain.

How do you let them go?

How do you tell your heart, "It's okay"?

Why it's eating me alive?

This craving to talk forever

Those laughs, strange talks

How do you move on?

Why I'm feeling lost again?

When does the pain fade away?

Yesterday always

Please tell me why I feel grey

I want to pretend that it's okay

Save myself from this hurricane

My eyes burn, the tears dry

Need you here beside me

Hug me while I cry and cry

That day, you said, "Trust me"

When did I give you permission to play?

Now you are hiding

I look for you everywhere

Is it this easy to get rid of me?

Is it my fault for behaving this way?

At least clear my mind so I can breathe again

Tell me the truth so I don't feel betrayed.

Made for each other, two birds in love

Fell into your trap, it's been so long.

Hurt myself with your approval

Too naive I was for this betrayal

You are poison wrapped in gold

I never knew you, my heart in trial.

Green lights on

If you dare, sweetheart

Give yourself a chance

Shape your magic

Burn through desire

None care when you suffer

No one is there, no more

You wait and wait

So long since you gave up

It's life of your own

You don't need permission

Exist, live, survive

For you, not for anyone.
