People keep saying they want Morgan and Karadec to get together already, and they are missing the point. They need at least 2 ndes, one relationship failing because of the other, a divorce era. Someone here needs to be buried alive or driven of a bridge and Karadec needs to have a going of the books for Morgan's kids plot. Someone definitely needs to get shot. We haven't had a cop slow burn like this a while, let them hit the tropes before getting a dramatic getting together after one of them tries to quit in 3 to 4 seasons.

jane's first marriage is literally my roman empire when it comes to the mentalist. i can't stop thinking about it. i have a whole essay in my drafts. angela jane haunts the entire narrative and we have almost no objective facts about what she was really like. the only time she is described in detail is so general that we all thought it was about lisbon. or maybe it's not general? maybe jane seeks out the same traits in the two loves of his life? but then a woman like lisbon wouldn't have stood for the man that jane so clearly was prior to red john. was their marriage happy? unhappy? was it average? is she remembered as she was, or worse, or better? the show is right for refusing to tell us but it haunts me all the same.

Forever thinking about the existence of that one fuckass statue of Tom and Marissa as teenagers and the implications because it's like having a picture of your ex but you didn't actually choose to keep the picture and instead of a picture you can hide away it's a whole ass public landmark meant to burn your entwined history into public memory forevermore

And an even funnier headcanon is that Tom actually commissioned it on his deathbed knowing FULLY WELL who ""Penelope"" was and that Rotwell agency would have to take Fittes' permission to go ahead with the project and that Penelope simply could not refuse because why on earth would the granddaughter of the esteemed Marissa Fittes not wish to have this memorial erected?
