well, Caine does make the rooms for each child, in hopes they like it, the rooms also change as the child’s interest change. Well.. Pomni didn’t like to sleep in her own room.. Caine tried to get Pomni to sleep in her room.. changing bedsheets and pillows.. but nothing would work.. except sleeping with her siblings.. mostly Ragatha and sometimes gangle. Caine didn’t appreciate the fact that he made her entire room.. only for her to sleep somewhere else.. so that night, Caine locked her door when she went to bed.. leaving Pomni in her bed.. staring up at the wall.. unable to sleep..

Going from an amateur voice actor making silly Spamton fandubs on YouTube to voicing an equally silly character on one of the biggest indie animated shows ever is a huge accomplishment. It's been an absolute delight seeing how his performing skills have evolved over the past eight episodes. His voice made Caine into the comedic highlight of every scene he was in, while having the dramatic weight needed to handle the internal conflict integral to his identity. And he held nothing back on episode eight, bringing Caine to intense, furious, breakdown-level heights of emotion that were on par with any veteran voice actors' caliber.
Whether we hear you in episode nine or not, if you see this Alex, we are so so grateful for you and everything you've brought to TADC. You did, well, amazing.

Everyone in the TADC fandom, we need to speak up for Gooseworx. She has done so much for the fandom, and is one of the most unproblematic creators i know. Please let us all drown out the hate.

harassing creators over something so unserious is very immature and disappointing. She is human just like us DO BETTER

JAX: Ი︵𐑼
In this AU; Jax abstracts a little more than in Canon, leading to the scaring we see on his redesign. I have a comic I’m planning on making about his Abstraction ࣪ ִֶָ☾.
He sees Ghosts more often due to his Near-Death experience and feels a bit connected to them- contrary to his lack of empathy (or at least his whole tough-guy facade)
His scars do hurt quite frequently, a chronic pain if you will. He doesn’t use his right paw unless he really needs to. There’s not much he can do for the pain except try to ignore it. Normally, they would ask Caine to fix him. But given the Cast’s relationship with Caine right now is.. iffy… they don’t want to bother.
Aside from that, he’s not as kind and caring as Ragatha, but at least his pestering pranks have stopped. He has a tint more empathy- and is too tired to put up his mask anymore. Mainly he just stands along the others quietly.. quietly wishing the Abstraction had worked.
POMNI: ˙⋆✮
In this AU; Pomni is still the sweet, empathetic girl we know and love. With everything going on, she tries to help figure out a solution to all the chaos.
She is also clairvoyant, and in her dreams (when she manages to get some sleep) she see’s the Ghost of Kaufmo, usually. They talk a bit, he gives her some helpful insight, it would seem- along with some terribly corny jokes. She considers him a friend, I’d say. There’s a sort of bond between the two.
Given her and Jax were- sorta close, she finds it easier if she were the one to try and check in on him from time to time. Making sure he’s eating and sleeping - even though they don’t really need to, she just wants to make sure he is actually trying to take care of himself.
But she isn’t only worrying about everyone else, she of course is still taking care of herself and putting herself first. Nor is she “babying” Jax, she is trying to help he be more responsible and learn to grow, mature cuz he’s still very childish.

Their relationship in the AU: ᯓ★
So like in Canon. They had their fight 💔 But even then, Pomni still reaches out to him, even if he pushes her away. ~ At this point in the AU, Jax has been so mentally drained he doesn’t try to push her away anymore. Even though he does appreciate the company and empathy. And her making sure he’s okay, is something he is quite thankful for. As much as he would rather have Abstracted, at least Pomni doesn’t annoy him as much as the others do. (And the others too, are slightly more empathetic towards him)
Pomni is glad he isn’t constantly pushing her away anymore. She appreciates his more-quiet company. And being able to help even if he doesn’t say she’s doing much, she can tell. They are sort-of friends now, if not mutuals.
