Though she struggles with the new changes, she’s eager to prove to her father that she can be an independent person.

Heart Events with Sebastian:
2 Hearts: Sebastian finds himself at Sundance Farms. He spies Loren carrying buckets of milk from outside the cow barn. Their eyes meet, and Loren smiles. Sebastian feels his heart skip a beat, but he suppresses it as the two approach each other. Sebastian inquires about the farm; he gains affection with Loren as he commends her for her hard work.
4 Hearts: Sebastian finds Loren trotting on a beautiful Cremello pony, along the river. She slows her horse to a walk, and then to a halt as Sebastian snuffs out his cigarette. She dismounts, and the two converse with each other. Sebastian inquires about her horse; Loren introduces him to Sabrina, the childhood pony she’s brought over from a fancy ranch in Zuzu City. She’s a docile thing, ever gentle. Even Sebastian finds comfort in the pony. He gains affection when he compliments Sabrina.
6 Hearts: Loren invites Sebastian to watch a movie with her; it’s one of her favourites. He sits through the movie; it’s not exactly what he would watch by choice, but he finds himself drawn to the movie. Perhaps it’s because it is Loren’s favourite. He gains affection when he gives a smart analysis of the movie.
8 Hearts: Sebastian finds Loren sitting at the bus stop late at night. There’s no driver in sight, but Loren still sits on the bench as though she’s waiting for it. Her eyes are distant, and she doesn’t notice Sebastian quietly approaching to sit beside her. It’s only when the man apprehensively places a hand on hers that she snaps out of her reverie. After some time, Loren confesses that she still experiences bouts of anxiety about her future, about her decision to leave everything behind for the farm. She doesn’t regret her choices, but she still can’t help the raging thoughts of “What if?”. Sebastian gains affection with her by comforting and validating her and her choices.
notes: i have 2 main “AUs”/universes consisting of different TWST OCs, and different original plots! this post aims to summarize them both.
FOXIAN LORE: the Foxian Story follows the Xuan royal family, monarchs to the empire in the Land of the Red Dragons. the story follows Zhen Lei, an individual who once believed they were human from Earth, but soon discovered that they’re, in fact, the long lost heir to the throne; not only that, but they were ultimately the reason for a huge civil war which took place in the land. Now they must prove themselves worthy of the throne.
YUUNIVERSE: the Yuuniverse storyline follows the regular TWST story. Yujin Han is a regular 21-year-old from Earth who suddenly got brought to Twisted Wonderland. with nothing to her name, she lives tirelessly as a high school student (again) at NRC. suddenly, everything changes when Yuuki, who claims to be the “true Yuu” appears, and mysterious events begin to occur one after another.

new OC for my yuuniverse/twst story with Yujin (+ Romi and Hyde)! based loosely on Helga Sinclair from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, this is Klara Finley. she’s a bounty huntress with amazing fighting skills, and an irresistible appearance. Klara works for a mysterious benefactor who commissioned her to kidnap Yujin, stating they knew about Yujin’s arrival from another world. she is an exceptional fighter, but quite mediocre at magic; despite this, she actually has a very powerful UM. she’s acquaintances with Lilia.

brief summary: Dakota is the heir to a large real estate business in the USA, who had many properties in Raccoon City. after the destruction of the city in RE3, the family saw a large loss in profits, and have increased the prices for their buildings elsewhere despite the world struggling to adjust. Dakota, who wants no part in their family’s selfish plans, leaves on a mission to personally hunt down Umbrella Corp. and any other bio weapons manufacturing companies along the way. Dakota and Leon met during one of the latter’s missions after his training at the White House (set between RE3 and RE4). they’ve forged a bond through their mutual hatred for Umbrella Corp., and their sense of duty and justice.
PERSONALITY: Ai is a very bubbly and hyperactive individual. she is also insanely strong, so don’t underestimate her! she’s very affectionate too, and is a huge social butterfly. Ai is brave and isn’t afraid to speak her mind either. before discovering her demon heritage and returning to the Devildom, Ai aspired to be a Broadway performer. she still does hope to dance and sing publicly, but has put her dreams on hold to learn about her origins.

BACKGROUND: Ai is a half-demon who was born on Earth to a human mother and a demon father; however, because humans were not widely accepted in the Devildom at the time, the demon male moved to Earth to be with his beloved upon Diavolo’s support. there, they raised Ai, who fell in love with the theatre. it wasn’t until Ai was 20 that she discovered she wasn’t fully human, and at 22 (upon graduating college), she moved into the Devildom to learn her origins, studying at RAD.

i made a new OC for my second twst universe (with Yujin) >:) so we have Yujin Han, Hyde Faelan, and now Romi Klee! she’s an aspiring human mage who cross-dressed to get into NRC. i’m not sure who to pair her with, nor which dorm she’ll be in. the first picrew is how Romi usually looks, while the second is how she modified her appearance to get into NRC. she’s always been quite androgynous, which was a pretty significant insecurity for her growing up; however, upon seeing how her appearance has helped her, she took advantage of it.
i like to think that Yujin secretly enjoys being depended on. she’s not super physically affectionate and she’s also very socially awkward, but it makes her happy when she can help other people (especially in Twisted Wonderland, where she can’t help but feel like she’s imposing — even though it’s literally not her fault that she ended up there).
the first year group catches on after awhile, and they (mostly Ace, Deuce, Epel and Ortho. Sebek insists he needs no help from a “magicless mortal”, and Jack never can really come up with an excuse) all try to get Yujin to help them with whatever lol
with Ace, it’s mostly him asking Yujin to come to his basketball games to cheer him on. if he’s made a score, he’ll grin and say it’s because “big sis Yujin” was there to cheer him on; although, we’ll ignore the fact that Jamil insists that Ace is even more distracted when Yujin does go lol (Floyd uses these moments to get competitive with Ace for no good reason)
with Deuce, it usually involves going to Sam’s shop together, or helping him become an honour student, or talking about his mom. sometimes he’ll include Yujin at Heartslabyul’s Unbirthday parties, or he’ll send her some treats he and Trey made together. just little things that gets Yujin out of Ramshackle during their free time.
with Epel, it’s often him giving Yujin things from Harveston, like the latest batch of apples/apple products! admittedly, one of Yujin’s love languages is gift-receiving (and gift giving! but she hardly has a thaumark to spare while at NRC so she can’t do much there sigh), something anyone close to her hasn’t missed. also, i like to think that Epel visits her at Ramshackle and just lets his accent loose. without Vil or Rook to correct him, and without fear of Yujin snitching on him (she’s no snitch lol). just being able to let off steam and speak comfortably — even if Yujin doesn’t always understand — does Epel a huge favour, and Yujin’s glad she could help <3
with Ortho, it’s usually things related to his brother. after all, seeing Idia happy makes him happy too! it’s usually things like playing games together (either physically or simply online). Ortho himself, however, will sometimes go to Yujin for advice on matters about being more human-like (this is after book 6’s events). he’ll say something like “i’ve always wanted to do x with classmates! will you come with me?”, just inviting her along. that way, they both feel happy and included <3
with Jack, there’s not much he feels he can offer. he’s a lone wolf (literally), and he doesn’t feel comfortable pretending to need help. i feel like he wouldn’t really reach out to Yujin much until after she and Leona began seeing each other more. Jack learns from Ruggie that Leona’s attention is always snatched whenever the prefect’s name is mentioned, and Jack’s quick to catch on that Yujin feels the same way about Leona. so whenever Leona’s giving Savanaclaw a hard time, it’s a quick text message to Yujin, who ends up saving the day. it’s not much but it’s honest work lol
finally, we have Sebek. as mentioned previously, Sebek doesn’t usually ask for help. he’s supposed to be Malleus’ dependable guard, after all! how could a magic-less human possibly be of help to him?! … is what he says as a front. Sebek and Yujin don’t interact as much as the latter does with the other first years, but the prefect hanging around the stables doesn’t go unnoticed by this half-fae. sometimes he’ll demand ask her for help with the horses; he’ll insist it’s on Riddle or Silver’s behalf though. i also like to think that, since Sebek is a nocturnal fairy, he has methods of falling asleep at night so he can keep up with his day activities. whenever he notices bags under Yujin’s eyes, he yells offers her advice.
some second and third years do catch on too! specifically: Cater, Trey, Leona, Jamil, Azul, Jade, Vil, Rook, and Lilia.
Jamil is mostly indifferent to Yujin in this regard. poor boy has his hands full with Kalim already. Cater and Trey notice mostly because they see their juniors running about with Yujin over the most simplest things. Trey has his own duties to attend to as vice-housewarden, and Cater knows that Yujin is much more introverted than he is, but they both try to squeeze Yujin into their plans when possible :)
Azul, Jade and Ruggie are the types who try to take this trait to their advantage lol. Azul and Jade particularly with their Mostro Lounge duties (free worker? why of course!), while for Ruggie it’s usually for snacks, but Yujin knows to keep an eye out for them. however, if Ruggie brings up Leona, it’s all over for her.
Vil and Rook notice it (especially after book 5 + after they notice Epel growing closer with Yujin), but they don’t do much about it either. personally, i feel like Vil wouldn’t want to indulge in “falsely” needing someone’s help. he’s also like the Fairest Queen, and is often independent. sometimes, though rarely, he may invite Yujin over to test out some new products he received, but that’s it really. and Rook follows the Queen, of course. he’s content observing stalking Yujin and Leona when possible lol
i feel like Lilia would use this to try and get Yujin and Malleus to befriend each other more, not knowing that (for the first few books) they already had become acquainted. Malleus learns to integrate himself into society more, and the lonesome student from another world gains a reliable friend to depend on; it’s a win-win situation in Lilia’s eyes.
to Leona, it’s a whole different scenario. he doesn’t like depending on people without knowing their true motives (he knows Ruggie’s, which is why he trusts him enough), and he probably wouldn’t like going out of his way to fake needing help or attention from someone else; especially if that other person was someone who keeps making his chest feel all funny. but after he begins noticing Yujin more and more, he can’t help but feel irked that the little rabbit isn’t paying attention to him! he doesn’t know what to do though… after they begin dating though, he feels like he has some more freedom. Yujin is hesitant on physical affection, but she’s also incredibly touch-starved; she just needs to feel a very specific level of closeness to be able to enjoy being touched. it takes awhile, but Leona’s soon able to be the first person in ages who’s able to get Yujin to fully relax in a someone else’s presence. suddenly Leona’s occupying Ramshackle’s couch or the guest room, or Yujin’s off to give Savanaclaw a visit. Leona likes telling Yujin how she makes his naps soooo much better, how he’s able to fall asleep faster (even though it’s literally his talent), and how his life seems so much better. it’s cheesy, but all true. Yujin relishes in knowing that someone sees her this way, and Leona is content with finding a way to make Yujin happy.
