as expected, the kids act has passed the house under suspension, 267-117. i get that this is scary, i am scared, but no doomerism. we have time. unless the house version is changed (adding in duty of care), which it will be very unlikely to as it risks losing bipartisan support and raises major concerns about free speech and liability concerns from platforms, this will be a huge fight in the senate.
if the senate changes the bill to include duty of care, it has to be re-voted on within the house. the house passing this with the duty of care included is very unlikely, as they do not want duty of care. the senate passing the version without duty of care is also very unlikely, as major cosponsors and senators have called the house version, "dead on arrival" without it. this has been the fight forever. this will take time, it's not something that's just going to happen overnight.
call your senators, call your representatives, fax them, email them, sign petitions, spread the word, and do not stop fighting. take care of yourselves and rest today. we got this. no doomerism.

House Energy and commerce committee has announced an Agreement on Bipartisan Kids’ Safety Package, which includes KOSA.
TL;DR
House and Energy agrees on kids safety package called “KIDS ACT” which includes KOSA and 16 other bills
They have secured democrat support for a once republican only package
Democrats weren’t supporting the package because it didn’t go far enough
New text would require KOSA to force companies to curb harms to young users, though the differences between the senate and house versions of KOSA might cause challenges
With the senate version requiring a duty of care, with many pointing out to be a massive push for censorship (as is the other kid safety bills)
It does include provisions of date collection of young people and a bill that would push for better privacy for young people (oh the irony)
It’s not known when the bill will go to the senate floor, but it could be as soon as next week

I don't believe many of us stayed unimpressed by Noir Dedede's appearance.
And Hello!I absolutely adore that so many Kirby characters just get to have either a charismatic entrance, or just happen to be charismatic as a whole!
I got life defining exams I should have started studying for two months ago and got only a few days left for it which made me both procrastinate studying and drawing. But then I saw I ain't studying anyway so I did this drawing which I am so very proud of currently in a record time.
Most of the time this means I'm gonna find a thousand flaws right after I post it but this will be my punishment for leaving this blog collect dust. (I had to redo this bc I found a flaw right as I was writing) (I as a matter of fact posted and deleted this post 3 times either because I lost confidence or found a new flaw).
I got an existential crisis trying to draw the pipes but once I got them down the rest went smooth as butter! I especially was surprised I overall managed to get the leather matter of his sleeves? The crown might be a tad bit too bright compared to his original but in my defense I would probably do King Dedede's brighter so it's still dimmer.
And yeah.
