Can people stop throwing shit at Marinette after Sapotis? Seriously, every time a new chapter comes out, it seems that people are looking to throw Marinette even more crap out of everything she does.

I just want to say how much I hate Iris West. H.R Wells should not have been sacrificed for such a useless, selfish character as Iris is. Because of her, my favorite character of this season, who could give more, who had so much potential, was killed. The writers have deeply disappointed me. This series disappointed me this season.

Do you know why it is not worth reading the comments and attempts to defend the character of Iris West by you, fandom WestAllen?

Because they defend the indefensible, Iris West was selfish by letting another person take his place and sacrifice his life for it. If I were Iris, I would have accepted my fate by dying in the hands of Savitar, I would not have let anyone sacrifice for me. He did not even thank the gesture of H. R Wells or was with him at his side, he had the gall to laugh after his funeral. The character of Iris West has served only to be the object of love interest of the protagonist, has not contributed anything to the team of Laboratories S.T.A.R and completely forgot about his work as a journalist in Central City.

It pains them that Caitlin has contributed more to the team than Iris, that in Earth One as in Earth Two has turned out to be a great villain with extraordinary powers, that has had the best scenes of action with respect to its personage, that has shown that it can be strong.

There is no reason to think H.R. Wells took the place of Iris West. Leave the ethics aside for a moment – there was no time for him to do it. Think about it – Joe and Wally took her to Earth-2 and enlisted Harry’s help to guard her. While there, she made some confessions to Joe about her life, things only Iris would know. What, you think she would’ve had the time or inclination to tell H.R. those things so he could impersonate her convincingly? Would she even be able to impersonate him convincingly to Cisco and Tracy? Or does everyone think he switched places with her while Barry was fighting Future Flash aka “Savitar” in the park at Infantino Street? I rewatched that scene – at no point was that possible. She remained lying down where “Savitar” had thrown her until he grabbed her again. Let’s not forget that he was moving at super-speed while Barry fired at him – to a speedster in motion, everything else moves at a snail’s pace. He would’ve seen it happening and stopped H.R.

So no, H.R. didn’t take her place. WA stans are just lying to us and themselves, like they always have, because they don’t want to admit she’s dead.

Oh ... By all gods, thank goodness it has not been so. Last night I was reading the Spanish comments on the Spanish fandom about chapter 22 and in several I had found that HR was the one who had taken the place of Iris and that she was actually alive, but after reading it to you, I think They too were deceived.
