And here's the thing that most commie bootlickers can't wrap their head around - it's not Capitalism they should steer their hatred towards, it's unchecked corporate cronyism that's a real cancer.
That's the shit that sees corporate tyrants fattening the wallets of politicians to see trade and copyright laws twisted and bent in their favor, while the poor suckers in the middle and those below the poverty line keep getting fucked over ad nauseam.
That’s exactly why socialists invented the term ‘Capitalism’ to begin with; to confuse the distinction between a free or unregulated market economy and a top-down command economy, or mercantilism as it was originally called. That way they can seem to be advocating freedom from an oppressive and tyrannical social system rather than their actual goal being to transfer the reins of said social system (if it exists, and if it doesn’t they’ll make it exist) into their hands.
‘Capitalism’ is an empty term, devoid of any real meaning. Its only purpose is to give socialists a strawman through which they can project all the flaws of their belief system onto.
Yeah, I much prefer using the proper name: free enterprise.
