why did it take me so long to go to a concert? probably the crippling anxiety and agoraphobia i used to have but..

anyway i've been searching for other shows to go to this summer

i'll be away camping when alexisonfire and underoath are playing in toronto 😭😭 which i am SO bummed about. i love underoath so much

BUT!!!! today i'm gonna buy tickets to see jimmy eat world in august (they were my #1 favourite band when i was a teenager) AND tickets to see sleeping with sirens in november!!

I love visiting people who have some kind of pet reptile because they're always like "would you like to hold the reptile" and I'm like "of course I would" and then the rest of the conversation happens with me just holding a random reptile and the reptile Has No Feelings about the situation. They always just sit there, probably vaguely wishing to return to their heat lamp but clearly exuding an energy of This Might As Well Happen. and then I put it back in its enclosure and go home and the reptile very clearly has no strong feelings about the situation.

another great weekend 😌 spent sunday morning & all afternoon playing arkham horror with some friends. it continues to be one of my all time favourite games. i don't know how they manage to balance a game so you're literally on the verge of failing the entire time you play lmao. it's unforgiving, stressful, and hard, but i love it.

husband and i spent a lot of time sitting outside this weekend and chatting. the future is very very exciting, and maybe i'll post that post that's been sitting in my drafts about it all soon lol.

this wednesday i'm seeing my all time favourite artist, poppy, in toronto. i'm so excited i could scream.

next week is our muskoka trip! so i'll probably spend some time this week packing and getting ready. have to figure out a day where i can drop off our keys to my brother because he'll be looking after our cats while we're gone 🐈
